Hopper season! Hoppers are a lot of fun to tie, and can do a solid job imitating a variety of insects. I like to tie and fish these on the smaller side. Foam helps them sit high on the water, though the Madsen’s Skunk can fish lower (like a Stimulator). #fishing #flyfishing #flytying #onthefly
