His path has been defined by global curiosity. The international trajectory of Koichi Yamamoto began in Japan, before taking him to Wyoming in 1983. After graduating with a BFA from Portland's Pacific Northwest College of Art in 1992, he spent several formative years in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
