𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵𝘁 𝗞𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀.

Kuddan, a remote area of Tehsil Dasht in District Kech is under military siege and operation has been going on for more than a week now. The entire region is tightly controlled by the security forces and people are living as hostage life. The Law Enforcement Authorities (LEAs) are moving from house to house raiding, setting ablaze and forcibly disappearing people particularly educated youngsters. Since the past week several Baloch individuals have been enforcedly disappeared. A few cases have been registered while many go unnoticed due to fear, harassment and no communication access. These include:
• Talal Umer s/o Muhammad Umer, an FSc Student, disappeared on 10 November,
• Salman s/o Liaqat and Amir s/o Muhammad Ibrahim both are students, disappeared on 10 and 11 November
• Habib s/o Mujeeb, a Metric Student disappeared on 19 November
• Hakeem Baloch, a labour disappeared on 10 November
Additionally, the amount of fear and psychological impacts of military operations on the native Baloch people is unprecedented and has made life unbearable for them. Along with genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity are being committed against the Baloch nation. Baloch Yakjehti Committee condemns this ongoing colonial violence in Dasht area and entire Balochistan. The global community must take notice and restrain the State from committing genocide of the Baloch. The Human Rights Organizations must highlight the blatant violation of fundamental human rights of the Baloch. The Baloch nation must continue their resistance and unite against this military operation which threatens our national existence.

𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀

Cases of forced disappearances are increasing rapidly, while internet services have been shut down to curb the reporting of such incidents. Since much of Balochistan already lacks access to internet and mobile data services, the shutting down of data services in major regions appears to be an attempt to censor information about human rights violations by state authorities in Balochistan.

According to reports, 127 cases of forced disappearances were documented last month alone. This number has been increasing significantly since the beginning of this month. Details of some of the reported cases are as follows:

•Ahmed Ali Bugti, son of Faiz Ali, a teacher and a noble soul, became a victim of forced disappearance on November 11, 2024, from the Main Bazaar in Dera Bugti.
•Two days earlier, Tahir Ali, son of Kahoor, and Bahoot Rahim, son of Raheem Baksh, residents of Hoshab, were forcibly disappeared from Hoshab.
•This month, Talal Baloch and Amir Baloch, two young men, were forcibly disappeared from the Kuddan area of Dasht Kech.
•Muhammad Hassan, son of Abdullah Harooni, and Nasrat Ullah Baloch, son of Sardar Liaqat Baloch, residents of Kalan, were forcibly disappeared from Kharan.
•Last night, Norouz, son of Muhammad Islam, a resident of Panjgur, was forcibly disappeared from Hub Chowki. Norouz had previously been a victim of forced disappearance twice before.
•On November 7, 2024, reports from Gwadar reveal that Pakistani forces detained Noman, son of Ishaq, and moved him to an unknown location. His whereabouts remain unknown.

We urge human rights advocates and organizations to take serious action against such horrific crimes. The Baloch people are facing severe human rights violations and are being subjected to genocide. It is hard to find a family or household in Balochistan that has not been affected by state oppression.

Growing Disturbing Trend of Forceful Abduction and Targeted Execution of Baloch Individuals

The rising trend of forceful abduction and targeted execution of Baloch individuals, particularly the youth, marks an alarming intensification of the ongoing Baloch genocide.
Continuing genocide and enforced disappearances with impunity , Pakistani forces forcibly abducted five Baloch youth from Maskan Chorangai, Karachi, around 1:00 AM last night. Among those abducted is Meraj Shad, son of Gam Shad, a resident of Turbat. Meraj, a member of the Central Organizing Committee of the National Democratic Party, is a highly conscious and politically active Baloch youth and a recent graduate in International Relations from the University of Karachi.

Another abductee is Doda Ellahi, son of Ellahi Baksh, a resident of Bal Nigwhar and a sixth-semester student at Karachi University. Doda was previously subjected to enforced disappearance in June 2022 and released after eight days of detention following peaceful protests by his family and Civil society.

Also forcibly disappeared is Gamshad Baloch, son of Ghani, a resident of the Mand area of Kech and an M.Phil student in the Philosophy Department. Doda and Gamshad were previously abducted together and later released.

Muzamil, son of Gaffar, a resident of Pasni and a sixth-semester student of Philosophy, was also subjected to enforced disappearance.

Ismail, son of Ibrahim, a resident of Mand and a worker in Dubai, was forcibly disappeared from Hassan Square, Karachi.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee vehemently condemns the illegal detention of these young Baloch students and political workers. We raise serious concerns about their well-being, as on a daily basis, forcefully abducted Baloch individuals are being targeted in fake encounters and brutally killed.
