Andrew Scott could be nominated twice in one Oscar category under new rules, thanks to Elsinore (Ian Charleson) and Pressure (James Stagg). No nominations announced yet, but Scott’s Oscar chatter boosts Charleson’s story. #AndrewScott #Elsinore #Oscars

Evening #heartsky Busy day - got to see #Elsinore at lunchtime. The film is so good, I wasn’t expecting it to be so funny (in a very dry British humour kind of way). Joe’s part is small and perfectly formed 🥹 Very raw emotionally afterwards, then had therapy. Trying to be kind to myself.
Inside a cinema auditorium at the BFI London Film Festival, audience members sit in rows of bright red seats waiting for a screening. A large cinema screen displays the white BFI London Film Festival logo against a vivid blue, purple and pink gradient. Purple lighting illuminates the walls and ceiling, while several audience members chat, look at their phones or settle into their seats.
A daytime photograph of the National Theatre on London's South Bank, showing its distinctive Brutalist architecture of stacked, angular concrete terraces, projecting balconies and large windows. The words "National Theatre" appear prominently above the entrance. Several pedestrians stand or walk across the forecourt, where temporary metal barriers and construction materials are visible. Posters advertising The Jungle Book can be seen near the entrance, beneath a bright blue sky with scattered clouds.
A photograph of a colourful pedestrian signpost on London's South Bank against a bright blue sky with scattered white clouds. The signs point right towards the National Film Theatre, Hayward Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Festival Pier and Jubilee Gardens, and left towards the National Theatre. A modern glass building stands behind the signpost, with a pale pink building and trees visible in the distance.

The Oscars may let Andrew Scott earn two nominations in the same category under a new rule if Elsinore's Ian Charleson and Pressure's James Stagg both finish in the top five. Buzz is building around Scott's dual roles. #AndrewScott #Oscars #Elsinore
