You told @chrislhayes.bsky.social that we weren't in a constitutional crisis until trurnp defies the SC, even though we lost the rule of law long ago. Well, here we are. What are your options from the minority during a constitutional crisis? Answer that question and then get it done. #election2028

Getting involved right now in helping #Independent MP's begin planning to hold their seats in #Election2028 & encourage new independents to get organised to win next time. 5 of them lost by only a few votes in recent election. In particular we must get #ZoeDaniel back into #Parliament in Goldstein

Sen. Angela Alsobrooks on 2028, Voting Rights & Restoring Trust in Congress

On this episode of Poli Alert, we sit down with U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks of Maryland for an in-depth conversation about the biggest political stories shaping the countryโ€”and the choices that will define the next election cycle. The discussion examines the battle over which state should vote first in the 2028 presidential primary calendar and what that decision could mean for Black voters, regional influence, and the future of the Democratic Party. We also break down Rep. Nancy Maceโ€™s latest move involving the Congressional Black Caucus and the broader political tensions surrounding it. The episode tackles the growing bipartisan debate over banning members of Congress from trading individual stocks, along with questions about transparency, conflicts of interest, and public trust. Sen. Alsobrooks also weighs in on voter ID, election reform, the โ€œone voteโ€ conversation, and the political stakes surrounding Georgiaโ€™s upcoming elections. Plus, Rapid Fire delivers a fast-paced look at the latest headlines, followed by Marching Orders with practical ways to stay informed, organized, and civically engaged.
