The average student debt now stands at £53,000. Almost half of graduates will spend 40 years paying off loans they’ll never finish. This is not a fair or sustainable system. #StudentDebt #educationforall Minister not grasping practical and emotional costs 👉 bit.ly/47DhmeZ

Every child has an equal right to access a public K-12 education. Yet, some lawmakers in #Tennessee are pushing bills that could let schools deny kids an education based on their immigration status. We must protect #EducationForAll

In the world, 773 million people can't read or write. 📖✍🏼 70% of them are women. 💔 This inequality takes away their right to education, limits opportunities, and keeps families in poverty. 📚⚖️ (Source: UNESCO Institute for Statistics) #EducationForAll #GenderEquality

Erasmus Plus back on the table – but our universities are sinking under a failed market system. We don’t need fewer students. We need a society of lifelong learners, ready for climate emergency and global shocks. #EducationForAll #Lifelonglearning
Quote graphic with background image of two young women writing in notebooks outdoors. Large white headline text reads: “Real Hope. Real Change. We need a society built on lifelong learning.” Beneath, in smaller white text: “Good news: the government is finally making plans to restore the Erasmus Plus exchange scheme for students, apprentices, lecturers, and teachers with continental Europe. But our universities are in deep financial trouble. The neoliberal, marketised model is clearly failing – and instead of fixing it, ministers are floating the idea that fewer people should go to university. That’s the wrong direction entirely. Yes, we need a greater focus on apprenticeships and technical education, but this should not be an either-or. What we need is a society built on lifelong learning: one that equips people to face the climate emergency, the nature crisis, and an age of global shocks.”
