Tarn from TakaraTomy
I cannot overstate just how much I loved James Robertsβ MTMTE comics. They reinvigorated my love of Transformers after I thought Iβd put the franchise behind me.
Of all the new characters, Tarn was my fave.
And heβs a toy now!

Masterpiece Megatron from TakaraTomy
While this very pointedly did NOT age well, Iβll argue that as a masterpiece version of the 1985 Takara Transformers TOY, it is actually pretty freaking great.

So sideways comes with his mini con mirror who can split in half into minicons crosswise on the left and rook on the right. These two little minicons can then be used as alternate heads. Which is actually pretty cool. #Transformers #Deskbot

Today's #deskbot is a funky oversized knock-off of what I personally feel is the best toy of Orion Pax from Transformers One, the mainline warrior class figure, recoloured to presumably resemble Nemesis Prime (Nemesis Pax...?). These are very cheap on AliExpress but are also pretty decent quality!

Today's #deskbot is the last figure from my Japanese haul back in June, the one and only Striker Manus from Maketoys - I never thought I'd get the opportunity to have this toy, but I am so glad that I did as he is absolutely stunning and genuinely one of the most fun Transformers I've ever handled!

Today's #deskbot is widely considered to be one of the GOATs of Transformers, T30 Springer (namely the Autobot Heroes 5-pack version), however I must be missing something as while this is a pretty great toy there quite a few aspects of its design and engineering that make me raise an eyebrowβ¦!
