My new US passport has a letter in the “number” Thinking back to all the devs and DBAs who argued that PassportNum should be integer. I wonder what it cost for all Those systems to “fix” this problem? Still wondering when SSN will get letters. #DataQuality

Many of the examples Prof O’Neill cited of benefits of AI are more accurately benefits of machine learning applied to searching for novel patterns in available data. These are ACE. But come with overhead for society (impact on jobs, need to reshape education and training, impact of #DataQuality)
