In this episode of The McMasters' Chronicles, we analyze two clips from our former high-control church and expose a pattern of spiritual abuse, victim blaming, gaslighting, and emotional manipulation. The message is clear: if you're struggling, anxious, depressed, physically ill, or questioning leadership, it's because you've "listened to Satan," been "drawn away," or have a spiritual problem—not because of the environment you're living in. We explain why this teaching is so damaging and how it shifts responsibility away from leaders while placing the burden on the people they have harmed.
