We must shut down Dilley and end the for-profit prison system that allows companies like CoreCivic to profit from mass incarceration and the abuse, neglect, & trauma of our immigrant neighbors. Close Dilley. Abolish ICE. Not one more cent to this campaign of terror.

Children are still being held in secretive ICE detention with almost no oversight. Your reps have the power to shut Dilley down. Tell them to use it:

At least 52 people have died in ICE custody since Trump returned to the White House. At least 23 people have been shot at by federal immigration agents. And thousands more have been caged, separated from their families, or shipped off to dangerous countries. The cruelty is endless.

Detainees held at Camp East Montana in El Paso, Texas report spoiled food, missed meals, denial of medical care, routine beatings, and near constant abuse. When historians reflect on this regime, cruelty will be the word most often used to define it.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was murdered by ICE. His three sons called him “El mundo entero” — the whole world. They watched as their whole world died in a video posted on Facebook. Lorenzo was our neighbor and fellow Texan. He deserves justice.
