Every single second, the world hands $6,000 to the fossil fuel industry in subsidies. That’s $5 TRILLION every year. Renewables? Barely a fraction of that. We are literally paying to cook our own planet. When does this madness stop? 🌍💸 #ClimateCrisis #FossilFuels

15+ years old, but still VERY relevent — and if we had acted 15 years ago, the “better world” we’d be creating would be a LOT better & easier to reach. There are real consequences we’re just starting to see to not heeding this cartoon a lot sooner. Even worse if we don’t heed it now. #ClimateCrisis
Iconic cartoon with people looking at a long list of public benefits connected with climate action, asking “What if it’s a big hoax and we create a better world for nothing?”

Climate denial is out of touch with reality. You trust science for vaccines, surgery, and your smartphone, but deny climate science? Stop cherry-picking. Time to reject the lies and stand for our planet’s future. Like + RT to spread truth. #ClimateCrisis

Every. Single. Day. my teenagers wake up in a country in which raping children does not disqualify a financially & morally bankrupt felon from being President of the US. But also in a country in a Code Red for air quality b/c the grown-ups are pretending there's no #ClimateCrisis. #TrumpsteinFiles

Real time data coming out of the world’s climate measurement systems should be stopping us in our tracks. The latest estimate shows that, this week, the Earth is 1.9°C warmer than before we began burning fossil fuels. #climatecrisis #ClimateEmergency #auspol www.lyrebirddreaming.com/….

This week, Professor James Hansen and colleagues published projections that the global temperature record could reach +1.7°C by 2027. And if that number lands in your gut the way it landed in mine, good. It should. #climatecrisis #auspol www.lyrebirddreaming.com/….
