New exercise I can do with #ChronicFatigue and #LongCovid: play fetch with my cat. It's the cutest thing. I throw her brown fluffy toy down the hallway, and she chases after it then comes trotting back with the toy in her teeth and drops it at my feet. 🥰

Will I have to walk far?
What’s the weather like?
Is the pain worth it?
Will I regret it halfway through?
Is it worth the flare that’s coming?
Will I recover in a day… or a week?

Some may say I’m overthinking,
But this is the math of chronic illness,
And every yes comes with a price only my body can see.
