A first for me: a Chimney Swift nest made of twigs stuck to the wall with saliva. Chimney Swifts normally nest in hollow snags or old chimneys. Their feet are designed to cling to vertical surfaces, and they are unable to perch. #chimneyswift #birding #birdingphotography #birdphotography

I noticed yesterday that the Chimney Swifts were flying low over Queen St... just over the buildings. So I went down today and spent a lot of time marvelling at their incredible speed and agility. I'm not sure if I can photos any closer than this... but i'll keep trying. #birds #chimneyswift
