Soap holds a confident look, unshakable even. As he proclaims just because hes a Scottish man, he would be inclined to make shortbread for a special baking op. orchestrated by Price? Absolutely he would. Scotland forever. Text at the bottom of the page reads: Shortbread, a traditional Scottish biscuit made with butter, sugar, and flour. Although Soap's recipe origins are classified... (note from Soap: says its the method, not the ingredients.) Behind him, Ghost is stabbing a piece of paper of his likely battle plan, doesn't look like its going very well because he shows himself out for his already 3rd smoking break. There will be more.

Kate Laswell from Call of Duty is tapping away on her brick of a laptop, very industrial. Such spy. Very secret. She had some kind of procedure recently and is recovering at home. IDK what procedure I didn't think that far.... But shes gotta take antibiotics, which her wife brings her to the bedside saying "Your meds ma'am.." Laswell's wife is tentatively named Nadine if anybody was curious, they met in Beirut when Kate was at universittyyyyyyyy and I just think thats cute uwu ANWAYS Nadine is about to say something when Kate snatches those pills and dry swallows, like a badass, unfortunately they go down rough and Nadine is like bitch I had water tf.. who are you proving toughness to, your ugly Tiffany lamp? Kate's phone then chimes next to her, to which Nadine exasperated ya allahs, saying it better not be work. The screen of Kate's phone is her precious crusty white dog, the texts from John Price pop up and he says "heres a little something to help you in your revovery" and a link to a youtube video. Nadine sees this and says OH JOHN!! How nice of him to check on you, while she hands the phone over to her withering wife and she goes uuhuhh yeah.
Kate is big befuddled seeing a video link and even says so. HAHAHA) that after party hardy Nadine and Kate let Johnny and Simon stay in their pool house for the night, and she finds Simon skulking around their house and in the laundry room sitting with their cat (who never comes out for anyone because hes that type of person that cats like mhmm) and she has a sweet moment one on one with him and he being a little more on the drunk side still reveals just enough to her in soft inside and she can tell how much he loves that cheeky fucker with the brohawk and got so endeared to him shes like yeah your my son now. ANYWAYS Nadine cuddles up to Kate and tells her she and Simon text, play the video lady. And once they do, after a Ghostly threat of disembowelment, A familiar brogue says he might be expected of he to make short bread-....

In unhinged Captain Price fashion, his leaning towards baking veered toward pre-prepared. Semi HomeMade if you will. Two shots.. of vodka. Unleashing a jiffy-pop upon his company bitch you knew better. Price: Sorry lads, next psyche evals on me. All while Ghosts station plumes a cloud of smoke, while getting distrated with smoking (he can lay in a field un-moving, un-blinking for ungodly hours but committing to a small baked good? non). Speaking of, homie bursts back into the building carrying with him a plume of cigarette waft. Screaming an very british WOA'APPEN while Roach signs for him to calm tf down, while also waving away the cloud of nicotine to invade his nose. THE JUDGEMENT Soap and Gaz stand over Ghosts station, observing the charred remains of his forgotten quarry. They both realize he just fucking cooked the already baked gingerbread men the bought from the Gregg's a block away. His speed walking chain smoking stress walk carried him there conveniently. (I vote they are his favorite because he says it feels like chewing on a slab of pavement, hes into that, chocolate rocks are also a thing) Soap: Quite reminiscent of yer ginger men from Gregg's no? (idk if Scotland calls Greggs Greggorys too, forgive me) Gaz: Burn the evidence, smart man.. (hes into it) Ghost: It's what one might call "infired" Ghost's play on 'inspired' is met quickly with a dual "fuck off lol" while Roach signs hes a fuckin cheater, Price tells Roach to CUT THAT OUT, which he did not.
JUDEMENT FOR GAZ. Is met with a soft glow of joy and sparkles. Of course he did perfect, homie got to practice at home after all. And Roach already approved, to which he does with no fear of stomach ache. He taps the center of his lips with a happy smile, the BSL sign for delicious uwu while leaning his head against Ghosts nice broad shoulder. Ghost then states bluntly "Bloody lovely, how the fuck did you do it?" (how did he eat it with his mask up and down so quickly? the world may never know....) Soap sheds a tear on his shoulder while holding his bicep snugly. Price consumes. Gaz replies to Ghost that he made them with LOVE... To which he is instantly met with an "oh fuck off lol" because they are men, and they wouldn't let him get away with saying that LMAO, but Gaz smiles gleefully knowing hes better than them. Price consumes. JUDGEMENT FOR ONE SOAP MACTAVISH Gaz slides the bowl of nuclear sludge across the table, telling Price "Might want to sit this one out cap-". But Price consumes (how did he dunk so fast? the world may never know) Roach signs HOT and BISCUIT, in reference to "Nothing like some... hot... fresh.... short bread yeah?" while Ghost looks dead on at Soap and just goes yea... Roach sees right through this Ghostly slab of meat. He KNOWS him. He SEEEEES. Meanwhile Gaz is fucking yelling at Price WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST SAY while he chokes on the HEAT. Which he fucking saw while drinking his brews in the back of the fuckin building the knobhead. Price lives on the edge what can I say. Price rushes past exclaiming FUCKIN MILK because he needs the fats. Soap and Ghost jump a little to quick to hold him back Ghost: Don't be hasty now Price, get summa that nute shite yeah?! (mm nut shite, if only he knew about oat shite too) Soap: NO MILK!!! PLEASE sir think of the children!!! (them) Gaz and Roach look on in single eyebrow raising confusion.. Roach signs what happened?? and Gaz has nothing but a HMM..
PRICE JUDGEMENT.... Good lord. The man throws a fucking handful of street salt he found in a storage closet atop a pile of burnt jiffy pop, salt, and leftover caramel sauce Gaz had made he scraped out of a pot, oh and salt. Price: LIL SALT. BOBS YER UNCLE (that line alone made this whole page, bozers once again threw that one out and put me on the floor) The three boys look on in apprehension Ghost: You tryin' to pickle us? Soap: That is an EGREGIOUS amount of salt Gaz: I think I prefer Ghost's thrice broiled ginger fellas (he was into it, him and Ghost enjoy a bit of charcoal for the vitamin, uh, benefit) Price makes noises saying nonnnsense they wouldn't know a good time if it hit them in the dick and balls. But before he could finish that sentiment the next panel cuts to Price laying on his table moaning that he's pickled himself. Gaz is telling the story about when he fell out of the helicopter to the rest of the boys Gas: Next thing I knew, upside-down hangin' like a lemon- Soap yells at Ghost for carving into the table because hes a good boy, Ghost looks on in an ooc uwu. Gaz realizes they aren't listening, but Roach is because HE is also a good boy. Gaz says something out of pocket to see if they are listening: And Nik was all "Oh I shit the pants!"- they are not listening, Ghost is pulling on his goth mall hoodie motioning for Soap to follow. Roach is befuddled still by Nik whom shite him pant apparently. He doesn't know this, so now he only knows this Nik to shit him pant. Gaz has had enough: See, they ain't even listnein, MUCH too busy FRATERNIZING Price awakens from his salt absorption state and makes noises, Roach looks away as he thinks how he has also took part in the Ghost in the past >w>.. whootsthis Price gasps HAUGHTILY and goes "WHAT?! You two are fraternizin???" (hes been aware since day one, this mans gaydar is powerful) Soap goes HUH?! Ghost in his mall hoodie which I love lmao leaves hand in hand with his emotional support sergeant.

The conflict is noted, Soap is stealing everyone's butter. Ghost scolds him for such actions. Yells at him very loudly likely. Because the man has no inside voice. GET OUTTA MY STATION MACTAVISH. All while Soap not so sneakily slunks his way behind him. Ghost is sitting outside enjoying his 8th break from the pressures of the baking duty, refreshments and nicotine in hand and describes the true plight of their current op. Saying that Soap as "loaded up on enough slabs of butter to fortify the bloody building". Price is sauced, he is asked if he could do something about the butter situation, but he just laughs. No care. Gaz is sitting atop his table casually, looking at Roach who likely is begrudgingly nodding along as he says "Taken it all, this guy... All for his artillery against arteries." Soap cuts in from the back saying ITS NECESSARY, with a difussing wave of his arms. Ghost is seen behind Johnny, through the window, choking outside on the bench from probably smoking too much, man needs better coping mechanisms while trying to have a fun time I swear.
Price tosses Ghost another beer, while Gaz looks on in surprise. His face is in disbelief but also mirthless humor, or maybe.. Maybe hes just amazed hes seeing Ghost and Price cut loose so easily while he and Soap do all the work to ACTUALLY make something. Because this is for Laswell and here they are just pishin the day away?? Shameful. Price yells out that there is only 26 minutes left, very specific... Soap cuts in immediately and says "SIR?! Ye done said 18 minutes, 30 minutes ago?" Price cuts him off and yells MY SHOW Gaz is surprised at this sudden reveal they were being timed. Ghost chuckles. Hes gonna do this a lot, just a heads up. Hes having a great time now.
SETTING: Soap and Ghost find themselves.... NEAR A FRIDGE AGAIN. This is dangerous as refrigerators seem to insight a psychical injury or passionate necking of some kind. Soap: Och, move ye fou lankie-leggit fridge troll (translation: Stop blocking the way, you are drunk and your legs are long, why are you guarding the fridge reminiscent of a bridge troll?" Ghost: Negative, butter requisition suspended... (these are likely all the wrong terms because I do not understand military speaky so I am winging it lmao I couldn't find any phrase reference because Im already getting targeted ads for joining the UK military because I looked up ONE THING for understanding the ranks) Ghost starts to lean forward, with a dangerous vibe to him. Telling Soap "Hes had enough.. SSsssssergeant..." you gonna tell him its "for the grea'er goohd" too? hehe... hot fuzz... Soap hears his words. However. It goes in one ear and out the other. And then yanks up Ghost's pant leg and starts yanking out his leg hair. He leaves Ghost in a lurch with pant legs pulled and yanked up, revealing his infamous stripey socks, how cute. His legs mostly bare and throbbing. Roach looks in in curiosity... Gay eye brow cocked and loaded. Soap won and holds his prize of the last butter block, for what? I am not sure. Ghost says quietly to himself that he failed the mission, and there is no getting them next time... So sad. (insert Simon "Ghost" Riley needs a hug tag)
Continuing this madness. Soap is describing how he is changing things up to his recipie, adding a lil twist. A dipping sauce for his short breads. My god SOAP they don't need a sauce they are good on their own. But be free my little Soapy Soap, dunk away.... *cough Soap says hes a bit of a spice lord, but not to quote him on that. He turns and asks Gaz if he remembers when they went to that one Indian restaurant, and he ordered something at the level 7 of spice. Quite a spice level Vegeta. Gaz cuts in to remind him he barely has any functional taste buds. (And if he REMEMBERED, his trip to the toilet said otherwise to his "Spice Lord" certification.) Soap laughs and titters to himself oh good times. MEANWHILE.. All that happens. Ghost crushes a beer can, who knows what number hes on. He opens up the fridge in the back, starts messing around in the fridge while Roach looks at him with suspicious and curiosity. Ghost slams down, a tray of gingerbread men. That he . Definitely made. He was VERY inspired by the gingerbread men from Gregory. Very inspired.
