A lynx stands on flat, snow-covered ground, one paw lifted mid-step. The lynx looks at something unseen to the left of the camera. A black text box with white text hovers over the left side of the image and reads: "The House just voted to revoke a mining ban across 225,000 acres of the Superior National Forest, including the watershed of Minnesota's Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness."

ICYMI: The Senate voted today to overturn a 20-year mining ban at Minnesota's #BoundaryWaters. Congress has brushed aside Forest Service warnings and ignored overwhelming public support for protecting this area from copper mining.
A serene lake scene with a canoe in the foreground, surrounded by lush forests. A quote is overlaid on the image: “The Senate’s decision to strip protections from the Boundary Waters is a devastating blow for everyone who loves this spectacular wilderness.” It is attributed to Marc Fink, Public Lands Law Center Director. The Center for Biological Diversity logo is in the top left corner.
