Musselburgh was pretty quiet today with the most notable Bird's being a juvenile Little Stint and 2 female Shoveler, both on the old scrapes. Green Sandpiper on the new lagoons although I didn't manage to see it (definite nemesis bird now). @birdinglothian.bsky.social #birdinglothian

Not posting for the record shot obv but to say how life-affirming it was to see this mad, but ever-so-handsome wee thing at Aberlady today in the company of all ages, from the boy with the long lens half his height to the old gent I happily offered my scope to. #birdinglothian
