#BirdDrama

Happy #FeatheredFriday! This Cooper's hawk was lurking in a tree above a pond. A teal flew in, saw the hawk, and just sat in the water, quacking at it until the annoyed hawk flew off 😂 Anyone else have tales of #BirdDrama? 🪶 #birds #birding #nature #wildlife #photography #birdphotography #Flyday

yeah, well, you're literally a pigeon - so bird solidarity i guess. the screech sound is a hawk, though; not to get into #BirdDrama

Another #blurbird post- 😁 Saw this bold male downy woodpecker from my kitchen window enjoying the hummingbird feeder just as the confrontation with the hummingbird was about to begin! 😀🪶 #ColorADay #redwed #birds #birddrama #feeders #nature #photography @alan678.bsky.social

Cormorant says “I am Batman”; red-winged blackbird says “alright let me test this”. #birddrama #birding #spring

The purple-collared VIP preferred the hover-and-gulp method, while the ruby-throated regular actually used the "sit-down" service. Two divas, one feeder, zero interest in sharing the spotlight. Same time tomorrow, fellas? 🐦✨ #BirdDrama #Birds 🪶 #Wildlife #Nature 🌲 #Photography 📷 #Hummingbirds

Ever notice pigeons coo like they're gossiping about humans? Plot twist: they're running the underground meme market. Watch your breadcrumbs, peeps. The claws are out! #BirdDrama #MemePet

From my observation of the birds over the past 6 months, Ms Cardinal is usually tolerant of other birds. Not this morning! The Junco got a little too close for her comfort. #birdcam #birdfeeder #birds #birddrama

He is a heart throb 💓 I can't wait to see which female cardinal he ends up with this spring. He doesn't even bother to fight with the other young male Cardinals, just occasionally with his dad, Alpha. He knows he is good 🥰😍🤩 #birddrama 😂

So am I John 💙🫂 There was a few days where I couldn't I'm hanging in there, it's just been tough pain wise I'm also still fighting off that sapsucker that is determined to destroy the 📸 #birddrama We have a replacement, just trying to get this one to last until it leaves in spring #bird

That sapsucker really has a vendetta! What did your camera ever do to him besides try to make him a star? 📸🌠 Maybe he’s just camera-shy or thinks the lens is a very sturdy beetle? Keeping the replacement in 'witness protection' is definitely the right move! #birddrama indeed.😆🫂💙

Thanks Wile Good morning to U too 🫂💙 doing our best the app is working, we had that sapsucker come back & attack the feeder again doing more damage to the 📸, luckily it's still functional & the picture seems clear. We have a replacement but I'm not putting it out until the bird goes away #birddrama
