IC1848 - The Soul Nebula. I am officially blown away by the detail in my first real SHO image. This is just 30 mins on each filter. I can't wait to see the results when I get several hours on it. ASI2600 MM, Esprit 100ED, Altair 3nm Ha, Sii and Oiii filters. #astronomy #astrophotography

What happens when put a photon trap on your driveway during the night? Why, glad you asked! The Flaming Star Nebula in Auriga 🔭🧪 #astrophotography
A very deep red spiraling space nebula, with some complex purple structures at its center. There's also an immense number of stars, including and handful of prominent bright ones, including the triple-star system 16 Aurigae which glows in an orange color.

Two nights of 3:45am alarms, blazing full moon lighting the sky like daytime and washing out the light of everything else, comet included. Then two days of post-processing battles, as comet processing is maddeningly tricky. But I finally pulled it off: here is C/2025 A6 Lemmon. 🔭 #Astrophotography
