The funniest thing about our #allotments is how villagers come and go but then come back. We've got four of the original plot holders from 2009 (including me). Two people who started took a break and then came back. There's also a kid of one of the original plot holders who has joined us. Love it! 🌱

There's a plum tree on the plot next to mine, which my friend planted when we first got our plots, to commemorate a loss. She moved out of the village but I love to see it still flowering and fruiting. It's like the memories of the people who spent time on our #allotments are still there somehow. 🌱
