Time for a tasty beverage. Never had an Old Midnight Hen before. Brewed my Morland Brewing, Bury St Edmonds, Suffolk. Rich, smooth, full-bodied. Coffee, Chocolate. Some hoppy bitterness. Thick tan long-lasting head. #Beersky #BskyBeer #Ale
Clear glass bottle (now empty), the dark contents poured to a straight tall pint glass. Label on bottle reads 'Old Midnight Hen' Delicious English Stout. 4 2% vol'

I made some reference images and a page for my Golbez design... Finding a midground between "this is technically a canon NPC" and "this is my OC please be nice to him" #ale #albiart starcaller.carrd.co#golbez
Varying artwork of a headcanon design for the original Golbez from FFXIV. He looks reminiscent to FFIV Golbez, but with a different colour scheme. Durante is also there for scale

We made this beautifully clear #BronzeAge style #ale a few years ago (in 2010). Ingredients: crushed pale malt, water, meadowsweet flowers, yeast. Technique: mashing in using hot rocks in a stone lined trough in the ground. Let the mash settle. Collect the wort. Add yeast and meadowsweet flowers. ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ
Small glass of Bronze Age ale, held up against the light to show how clear and bright it is. Also tasted good.
Stone trough in the ground surrounded by heat shattered rocks. This is the replica Bronze Age trough on Bressay, Shetland.
The strike: adding pale crushed malt from a sack into hot water in a stone lined trough. This is a replica Bronze Age trough at Bressay, Shetland. The malt is being stirred in using a garden fork. A basic brewing technique: mashing in.
After around one hour the trough is full of sweet wort, not alcohol yet as this is just liquid malt sugars. The grain (malt) has settled to the bottom. Next stage is to scoop out the wort, transfer to a vessel, add meadowsweet flowers for flavour and preservation, then add yeast for fermentation into ale.
