You swear it's just one scoop. You're in Montepulciano, it's hot, and you've earned this. You even do the "Which flavor is the most authentic?" routine like you care. You don't. You want pistachio. Always pistachio. The first gelato is... divine. You eat it while pretending not to be in your own Hallmark movie. Cobblestones. Sun. Bell tower.
