Ideally, you have a well functioning transit system and a well regulated & fair taxi system that Uber can be a part of, as well as a robust hotel sector, buttressed by short term rentals comprised of excess housing supply and people making some extra cash on their homes.

2. The reply was appropriately labeled as adult content. 3. In context; the user I was replying to made an assertion that I was being self-masturbatory, so I shared an image that was commensurate with that assertion

I do think it’s depressing that the only things Americans brag about building anymore are concentration camps. Every week conservative influencers are posting “Heys guys I’m here outside MegaAuschwitz where the beds are REALLY cramped!” and I dunno… how bout some new light rail?

You don’t. As I’ve pointed out NIMBYS has far more inherent beliefs linked too old conservative American world views. Often wanting Smaller government control, Pro Car infrastructure, SFH zoning dominating major city’s, anti bike and transit options.

If you tax the rich like the average worker there are ways to provide needs within reason. There are ways to cleanup the streets, provide better public transport for workers to reduce congestion.

So typical nowadays. Sweden’s right-wingers are collectively more concerned about roads and parking spots for their cars than about having public transit improvements. They now see Swedish cities and mass transit users like TrumpubliKKKans in the US see US cities and public transit users.

You know, I really like the Japanese transport system, but did they have to suppress so many worker's strikes in the process? Really sucks what they did to Korea and Manchuria too.

Yeah, I haven't quite jumped into ziplines just yet, but I do have one completed monorail line and a good chunk into some others so far. I did make sure to get a zipline on one particular island though because I am not going the long way again. 🤣

🚆🛳️🚢 €2.8 billion to boost sustainable, connected mobility across Europe. We've selected 94 transport projects to help modernise railways, inland waterways and maritime routes. This means better connecting European regions and cities – and a more competitive Single Market ↓ europa.eu/!K8GGkq
An illustrated map titled "CONNECTING EUROPE FACILITY" displays a network of colored lines and circles overlaying a map of Europe, indicating various transport projects. Below the map, text states "94 transport projects to boost European sustainable and connected mobility." In the bottom right corner, the flag of the European Commissionis shown.

More Lytton Park fun: we could reduce this building height by simply moving the existing residents elsewhere! The same people who will act superior and dismiss renters as transient neighbourhood residents. www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis...
HEIGHT. The height and massing is not appropriate for this mid-block area that is approximately 1 kilometre
away from a subway station, and that has infrequent erratic bus service. With mechanical, the building is
56.4 meters (185 feet) high, much higher compared with recent nearby developments (built and approved) that
are in the 30-metre (98-foot) range. A building of this height and mass would set a major precedent for the
midtown zoned area of Yonge, leading to an eventual “canyon effect” that both neighbours and businesses in the
area want to avoid for this part of Yonge Street. It presents a vision for Yonge Street that is far from existing
guidelines. Such a height casts shadows across a number of the neighbourhood homes as well as across Yonge
Street and far down Blythwood Ave for many hours of the day.
Two Storeys for Rental Replacement Units. The height of the proposed building could be reduced by at least
two storeys if the City and the developer could find appropriate replacement units elsewhere in the
neighbourhood for the 31 rental units in the existing rental apartment that will be demolished.

I'm afraid of what I'd write if I wrote today. It's stupid to try to talk about this: I can't write about my fear of writing badly; I can't write about my fear of admitting my own depression. Or can I? I sit around for hours and hours doing nothing: on a windy spring day I sit on a park bench on Commonwealth Ave. writing this. Lightning runs across the street. There is no moment when everything suddenly looks the way it does now. I desire too many women because I am stale and afraid. Desire spins like water in the sink flashing on the porcelain. Lightning runs across the street. Now she's standing at the bus stop in blue and pink cotton, in her tan, in her lovely self-absorption. I'm stale and afraid-face up to it; I stare at the camera, trying to face up to it. Nothing makes sense to me but I trust these words will come out right. I trust you will understand. I know you cannot save me. You might ask: "Who is you? Do you mean me?" When we fight the way we did last weekend I wish I could mean someone besides you. I wish I could stop writing love poems. I need to look closely at what I've become at this moment. Well, I have eight legs and an exoskeleton, my eyes are livid taupe, and in each mandible I hold a tiny, screaming baby.
