i love this guy <3 everyone in the area knows him, he's *extremely* social yesterday I had to carry him out, purring and kneading in my arms, from a stranger's apartment, bc he convinced me he lived there I found out his name is EB, short for "Efterbliven" ..the swedish word for "retarded" 💀😭❤️
not that i take fault in people pursuing realism in digital media, but as realism becomes more real & infallible (speaking globally: computer graphics, sampled instruments, voice synthesis, "intelligence"), it's the impressionistic and blatantly artificial that speaks more to me as an artist
Madison Beer shares why she was dropped by her management at sixteen: “When I was 14, I remember people being like, “She’s too sexy” and “We can’t sell that because she’s so young, so we’d have to wait.” This was a real conversation, grown men talking about how I was too sexy. I was 14.”

I think people underestimate just how much stuff is in Slay the Princess. Slay the Princess has about 5,000 HD illustrations, 150 tracks of music, and 12,500 voice lines. They add up! Our games have a *lot* of dynamic art, which means constantly redrawing characters in new backgrounds and contexts

There is a ton of Star Wars material--games, books, comics, movies, and even some TV--that isn't exclusively on Disney+. And if the targeted boycott changes, we'll cross that bridge. We know we are good about talking about spaceships and aliens together. There are a lot of spaceships and aliens.
Happy 30th birthday, Jumping Flash! Spiritual successor to Geograph Seal on the most-holy Sharp X68000 and one of my favourite platformers on PlayStation. 💜 First-person platforming pulled off in the infancy of 3d platforming thanks to a couple of savvy design choices.
Every single *popular* game that releases and has frame-time issues always has hundreds of comments on YT where people contradict the evidence presented in the video. The thing with frame-time issues is that they are almost always universal; regardless of hardware. Yet people deny their existence.
It's immersion breaking and bad game design IMO. Unless there's a diegetic reason to be able to rewind on decisions, it shouldn't be in a game. And from the accessibility side of things we have dialogue history and a robust save system anyways.
