When Lumen was announced I was a worried by its geometry cards that it might lead to arduous asset creation or lead to oversight. Clair Obscure shows that off well. Lumen Surface Cache view is basically black with default software Lumen. Almost all indirect lighting is in screen space :(
I don't really make impulse purchases anymore and I think the secret to getting there is that I don't have a lot immediately in my life that engenders a constant sense of dissatisfaction. Of course things could be better for me and the world, but I do not need relief from the burden of my existence.
Ya know, I stumbled across a Bea Arthur quote and though I didn't love the woman, I feel deep sympathy: "I wasn't like them. I couldn't be. Blanche and Rose could sling jokes all day long and let them roll off their backs because at the end of the day, Betty wasn't dumb and Rue wasn't promiscuous."

(1/2) There's a special category of games which I loved introducing students to which I think of as "local maxima." Current modern examples include Balatro and Blue Prince. They are games that appear to have approached a pinnacle of design while also having a super fascinating quirk: A potentially
There is a ton of Star Wars material--games, books, comics, movies, and even some TV--that isn't exclusively on Disney+. And if the targeted boycott changes, we'll cross that bridge. We know we are good about talking about spaceships and aliens together. There are a lot of spaceships and aliens.
We need a cultural signal that means: "Don't lash out at me, hear this and reflect on your own actions and why they may warrant an apology to the person you wronged." And then we need to get in the habit of shaming people who abuse that signal or who strike out at those who give it to them.
