Trump attacked a Hyundai EV factory set to employ 8,500 people. LG is now rethinking its joint GM battery factory. We're alienating a close ally and 1 of 2 countries that makes latest-gen chips. If I were a conspiracy theorist, this does help Musk whose Tesla competes with EVs from Hyundai and GM.
I have managed to hurt my back so badly I am required to go get a massage. Unfortunately that means touching some of the money raised for Eggs the Cat. If you could help fill the pinned crowdfund item on this wishlist, i would be grateful. shares are also deeply appreciated. throne.com/mayawest
A college classmate learned I'd moved to Europe and emailed me to encourage me to visit him and his wife in Oxford, UK, which his "friends" tell him is "the best place in the world for trans Jews" I replied that it was nice to hear from him but that I find his hearsay evidence highly dubious
Every single person I knew who had a parent who abused alcohol would've LOVED for state intervention. Amy's Dad for example, despite multiple arrests, would often come home so intoxicated the car would be parked caddywomp on the front LAWN, stumbling in w/ pissed pants.
I see YT’s doing yet more things to confuse, scare, and harm video creators. Another day, another reminder that the relationship between YouTuber and YouTube is an abusive one. If you’re privileged enough to be doing well on YT, use the success while you have it to build a life somewhere else.
Four guys at the table next to me here in Lisbon are talking excitedly in Arabic about the murder of Charlie Kirk I don't know much Arabic, but I could make out "He was bad about Palestine," which could describe anyone, except they keep re-creating the killing shot with their hand gestures
Sounds like that military recruitment ad: If you can hold a pencil, you can take notes, you can make a spreadsheet, you can host a meeting, you can host a conference, you can shake hands with fascists, you can lead a country Only turns out he had the pencil the wrong way to start
The right-wing UK media ecosystem is so emboldened with promoting ‘gender critical’ transphobic brain rot that it’s now publishing made up trans-hostile opinion pieces (written by an LGB Alliance Director) using massive false equivalence to jam “trans” with any horrible thing they can find! 😖
Normally I would NEVER celebrate a person's death. I mentioned this in the piece, but I didn't linger on it because I didn't want to dilute the message. I would usually consider it unthinkably callous to display joy at the death of someone while their friends and family are in mourning.
"the Asian community was highlighted in the media, but what was not emphasized was the experience the community was facing across America. "I started by focusing on how hate had affected Asian restaurateurs," said Jade Ruggieri, student journalist at West Virginia University."
"In this heartfelt episode of Queer Story Time, we’re joined by Terence a 71-year-old trans man, to explore what activism can look like at different stages of life. Terence shares his unique perspective on creating "safe harbors" for others and the role this plays in fostering community and healing"
"From identity and dating to good sex and managing diverging expectations in the queer community, this conversation has it ALL. Dyllón Burnside sits down with a diverse group of LGBTQ+ community members at the Creating Change Conference in Dallas, TX, in Jan 2020."
"Hernando County, Fla., a place at the center of controversy last year after a teacher was investigated for showing a Disney movie with a gay character. For one full school year we followed a trans student struggling through her senior year with new restrictions on her healthcare and bathroom use."
"The Appalachian Mountains are some of the oldest geological features on earth. And they also hold fossils that tell us about some of the very earliest life forms that we'll ever manage to see in the fossil record. So how did these mountains manage to hang on to these precious fossils?"
"history of Americas forgotten ethnic groups of multiracial origin such as the Melungeons Redbones and more This video is specifically over established ethnic groups that just so happen to be of multiracial originrather than simply all mixed race Americans whomay not be of any specific ethnic group"
