Our newest residents Max ( pictured) and Morris have graduated from quarantine!! The lambs and our springtime rescue kids have to grow a fair amount before they can be introduced to their prospective herds. So in the meantime they’ve been enjoying some of the cutest hangouts you’ve ever seen! 🐑🐐

In my house, if you want to eat, you will appear in the kitchen at mealtime unless you are sick. Strict schedule is how I know everyone is ok (if they deviate there’s a problem) & why I was successful in trapping. I’m consistent. Flower has struggled w dinner time. (She is also disabled.)

It’s only taken 20 months that she has been with us, but Flower is finally starting to appear (get on schedule) for dinner with everyone else. She still does Flower things, but this is a huge improvement. She is still progressing in positive ways with her socialization.

Also it is cold but very sunny here this morning. The roosters I rescued off the road are now part of the flock after a small jailbreak, and they are SO happy to be clucking around with hens. My hens also think they're fantastic specimens of roosterhood.
