Our newest residents Max ( pictured) and Morris have graduated from quarantine!! The lambs and our springtime rescue kids have to grow a fair amount before they can be introduced to their prospective herds. So in the meantime theyβve been enjoying some of the cutest hangouts youβve ever seen! ππ
In my house, if you want to eat, you will appear in the kitchen at mealtime unless you are sick. Strict schedule is how I know everyone is ok (if they deviate thereβs a problem) & why I was successful in trapping. Iβm consistent. Flower has struggled w dinner time. (She is also disabled.)
NORMALLY IβM VERY MODEST BUT TODAY I TOOK CARE OF MY HUMAN WHILE THEY WERE HAVING SEVERE ANXIETY I CLIMBED RIGHT ON TOP OF THEM AND I PURRED AND I ALSO GROOMED THEM THOROUGHLY SO THEY HAD THE GROUP SCENT IDENTITY (WHICH IS VERY COMFORTING) AND I THINK I MAY BE A HERO
Itβs only taken 20 months that she has been with us, but Flower is finally starting to appear (get on schedule) for dinner with everyone else. She still does Flower things, but this is a huge improvement. She is still progressing in positive ways with her socialization.
