I use "transphobic" and "homophobic" in writing and conversation. Often they're accurate, but I've never felt fully comfortable with either as a blanket explanation. In some people, hatred is at the very root of their identity and self-definition; it's not simply a symptom of fear.

My issue with this is that they’re stewing in a cesspool of “race science,” Nazis, persistent degradation of marginalized genders, reactionary politics, and CSAM, and their focus is on not being yelled at for pro-AI views that can be curated via aggressive muting and blocking tools.
