THIS PACK IS NOW FULL PLEASE READ. A list to help MDANTs 🏅 find each other. This pack is now full, check to see if you're on this one and if not then feel free to request to be added to pack II. It won't let me add a link here but you'll see it in my Starter Packs via my profile.
Just regular Teesside folk n tha.
Historians, archivists, librarians and writers working in the field of labour history (broadly defined). Mostly, but far from exclusively, UK based.
I have made a Starter Pack for anyone interested in beautiful images and inspiring nature photographers. I will continue to add to this list so I apologize in advance for those I have not included yet!
Photographers of all kinds who post really great photos that I love to see. Please don't request to be on this one, it's deliberately a slow grower and I'm adding people as I find them. Check out my lists instead #Photography 📷
People who post a lot of history stuff here on Bluesky, authors, educators, interesting accounts and the like!
A list of (mostly) landscape photographers from the UK. A few documentary photographers and non-UK photographers may have sneaked in! Created to add some photo goodness into your feed. Please suggest additions :)
Good landscape followers are sometimes hard to find. If you're new to Bluesky, then this should give you a helping hand.
Accounts which share the beauty of nature and quiet places
Historians, archives, museums and other Blueskyers who research, write about or regularly post on aspects of British history from 1900 onwards. See 'Modern British History (1900-) #2' for more great accounts on this subject.
Brandy Schillace’s author/book pals, many of whom appear on Peculiar Book Club (podcast/YouTube livestream)
If you like beautiful landscapes and would like to follow some amazing artists, then this starter pack is for you...
The second list to help MDANTs 🏅 find each other. If @memorialdevice.bsky.social dubbed you an Alternative National Treasure here or on the other place, let me know and I'll add you! The first pack is now full but please check to see if you're on it before requesting to be on this one.
A pack to collect together working class writers (and/or writing on working class themes): non-fiction. Also those working on related/feeder topics like history, place, identity, deindustrialisation, politics etc. Includes academics researching those subjects, and orgs that feed into them.
Independent and/or small productions (including individuals) who make documentary films.
Landscape photographers who are either based or shoot in the UK. Most will be pro/semi pro, have had success in competitions, been published or just recognised by their peers. People will be added as I find them.
My favorite photographers who really show the art and artistry of photography, from macro to landscapes
This starter pack is for people wanting to absorb a wide range of photographic experiences and styles. Some listed are multi-decades experienced professionals and some are relatively new but with a unique eye. I look forward to additional people in all phases of photography arriving at Bluesky!
Writers from Europe, living in Europe, dreaming of Europe, writing about Europe.
Accounts that post interesting, fun, different, quirky stuff! (not scraper accounts!)
