our kitty never had a scratching post (safe ones that fit our apartment are expensive)
recently we bought a couple $1 one-layer scratching pads and glued them to random walls with nano tape
this senior void is happy to scratch in a vertical position and gets zoomies + trills around the house π π

awhh kitty got eye infection again ;w;
it's been over a year without it returning with this eye cleaning solution... hope it will clear up in couple days and won't need vet. it's always the same eye and seems seasonal but i hate seeing his discomfort, especially on his birthday

every night without fail this cat follows us to the bed and demands cuddles before sleep.
he takes over one lap, then another (at a specific time) and as soon as I take my sleepy pills and @volmie.varyel.com lays down kitty trots away and goes to sleep on one of our chairs.
