You're garbling text. Maybe you're using dictation? Anyway, you're wrong about a lot of things. OK's cost of living is vastly different. For apt rent costs in Eastern cities, you could own a house in Midwest. Ian explains why their citizenship is relevant. ⬇️

Some have responded w/ a version of "why are you elevating this story when non-citizens have it much worse?" This story shows, in a concrete & visceral way, that citizenship is not a shield from state lawlessness in a mass deportation regime. That realization can turn ppl against such policies.

Trump’s brain might be pudding, but that interviewer is an embarrassment.

I had to upload the clip here because it's frankly insane. Possibly the most insane trump clip yet. His brain is pudding

I should also note that this does not mean the report is error free! However, talking to lawyers and others using these reports, they have said the time savings in writing the report eclipses the time error checking.

America is one of the largest manufacturing economies in the world and most people and many news organizations state bluntly that America doesn’t make anything. (This is partly because we often import and export partly made items under formerly zero or low tariff regimes.)

Not to get super op sec; but if the point of creating this attractive image (sincere!) is to bypass, uh, surveillance by defeating search engines, doesn't adding alt text undermine that? Because alt text is searchable.

Depends on how long we’re talking about. I think there’s value in having it all together in one run. There’s also the fact we make no money from this show (in fact, we lose some money) and naturally forced a limit on how much time and how often we can make these.

Meta's first AI developer event, LlamaCon, is official wrapped. It felt more about OpenAI than developers. The company released a Meta AI chatbot app and a Llama API service, both of which seem poised to undercut OpenAI's core businesses.

The API will surely make it easier for devs to build applications with Llama models, but the chatbot app felt like an odd way to kick off a dev conference. Also, still no Llama reasoning model, which a lot of devs I talked to are asking for. More here: techcrunch.com/2025/04/29/m...
