Has anyone thought about implementing an #atproto schema + appview for sociocracy style circles and roles? If would be cool to experiment with what kinds of collaboration and governance become easier to do with these kinds of records being decentralized and app platform agnostic.

I'm playing around with surveys! Use YAML to define a basic survey, share the link, and have your people fill it out. Get stats live. If you log in, data is stored in your PDS.

My evil crazy scientist plan for the "undockered" PDS is to come back to my idea of a "Mastodon proxy" running on the same server (ideally in ๐ฆ), which would load my home timeline & threads from my Mastodon server and show it as a fake "virtual" Bluesky feed so I can view it on bsky.app ๐

Today's summary:
- migrated my PDS out of Docker (on the same server)
- migrated my Mastodon instance from an ARM G11 at Netcup (Geekbench single core: 986) to VPS G12 (GB single core: 1982 ๐) - I think it feels faster ๐

Running w/o Docker, with the bluesky-social/pds repo just cloned with git, deps installed with pnpm, and then launched with 'node index.js' via systemd service, and Nginx routing HTTP requests to it. And now I can start messing with some things, e.g. adding other endpoints/pages on the same domain.

If you happen to have a Foursquare/Swarm checkout lying around somewhere you can now take those checkins and publish them on #atproto as Anchor checkin records. I made a little Golang cli app that should make it super easy (and takes rate limits into account) tangled.org/tijs.org/fsq...
