Low key even tho I have scored games, I'm a performing artist year round, I've played Magwest, and I've played POW (another mag related event), I've kinda given up on applying to the big show because I'm not doing chiptune, game covers, or making mass media nostalgia music.

Bit Brigade is a really amazing audiovisual experience. But a lot of fellow performers have been concerned with the hypocrisy of booking the same act for a third time when the current @magfest.org goals clearly say "no year-to-year booking" (super.magfest.org/music-artist...)

I know everyone is upset about bandcamp using stripe, but it's normal to show your ID when anything involves getting paid.
ID laws and censorship are bad, but In CA, you always have to show 2 forms of gov ID to get a job. You have to show ID for a lot of things. That's what having an ID is for!

Day 22: It's been 3 weeks since we admitted Rex into the hospital with pneumonia. We read that it takes kittens 4-6 weeks to fully recover, so we've been operating off of that assumption. I want to finally get him an appt for shots and to get fixed, but we have to wait til he's 100% $275 to go
