It's outrageous to do, but I use tweens for sequencing tracks and to drive fading, as well as playhead movement. The tween sequence is recreated every time you hit PLAY because that's how tweens are in Godot. It's quick enough, but wish I could reuse the same setup without recreating it.

🔊🎛️ I have nothing on Audacity, but my little sound effect library manager now has a simple audio mixer where I can trim, fade, and layer effects directly from the library! The tool will be FOSS, releasing in a few days 👀
