Not that I'm aware of. From my understanding Square Enix and by extension FFXIV tends to have a big presence at events like gamescom but that's about it.
They sometimes tour and do concert tours for various final fantasy games and those are pretty good from what I hear.

if you like nintendo games play ape escape 2 and 3, it's from when sony was trying to be the cooler nintendo with an edge ( and nintendo was kind of trying to be vg disney )
if you can, avoid playing it from psn tho, it's the 50hz version running in 60 and it feels heavy like an unreal engine game
