People should play Expedition 33 regardless of how they feel about The Game Awards. It's a story that's going to sit with me the rest of my life, and I don't think it's hyperbole to say it was life changing for me. If you play nothing else this year, play E33.

Expedition 33 will win GOTY, the devs will make a speech about how they love and were inspired by JRPGs and how people should give those games a chance and the next day the press will be like "Expedition 33 wins GOTY and proves the west has STOMPED JAPAN IN THEIR OWN GENRE"

I was fortunate to play both Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Expedition 33; the casts of both games were phenomenal. I voted for Jennifer English, she did an incredible job as Maelle. Same for Ben and Charlie's roles. I also thought Troy knocked it out of the park as Indy. #TheGameAwards

Can anyone explain to me why Expedition 33 is so well liked? I'm not saying this as a hater, I haven't even played it. I saw plenty of gameplay of it when it came out and thought it looked ok but nothing special, and anyone I asked to explain said "just play it".

Absolutely insane this game didn’t get nominated for a best performance of narrative award. At least it got a nomination, even if Expedition 33 is definitely winning.
