🚨NEW: Senator Chris Van Hollen says he was just told by El Salvador’s Vice President that Garcia is still imprisoned because “the Trump administration is paying the government of El Salvador to keep him at CECOT.”💥 This is despite him not being a MS-13 gang member nor being charged with a crime.

Van Hollen says that he asked the VP of El Salvador why his government continues to hold Abrego Garcia even though he’s not charged with any crime and there’s no evidence that he’s MS-13. “His answer was that the Trump administration is paying the government of El Salvador to keep him at CECOT”

Trump, of course, never admits he's wrong -- bet that secret talks w/ El Sav prez will let Trump save orange face w/ El Sav prez "as a diplomatic courtesy" returning Garcia.

This is a fear tactic, they've given an example of what they will do now they send these letters to citizens scaring them then later they'll say they were sent in error, this is ramping up fear trying to silence us and stop citizens standing up for the people they ARE deporting!! I SAY FUCK THAT!

I have Senator envy. Senator Chris Van Hollen from Maryland did what no other representative or senator or governor has attempted. He went to El Salvador on behalf of his constituent, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Each abducted prisoner deserves the same consideration from their government official.
