I am angry on behalf of every autistic student I taught and every autistic adult that I know. This characterization of autism as completely crippling and of those on the spectrum as less than should be condemned LOUDLY.

If you, like me, are the parent of a neuro-atypical child dreading this autism press conference, please remember: These are the people hurting our kids. Not us. They are the ones stigmatizing and pathologizing them. They are the ones peddling untested science. And we should be very, very angry.

In case anyone doesn't realize it, the only thing that causes autism is genetics. Not Tylenol, not vaccines. Just genetics. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

As an autistic adult I think RFK should spend his resources not on demonizing the autistic community but rather find the culprit who keeps vacuum sealing his face
