On the final day of Open House London we visited the BT Tower. Great views over London on a glorious sunny morning from the former revolving restaurant. Note the 1970s menu on display: all in French, as was then the practice for a certain class of restaurant. This one was operated by Butlin’s.

Best thing about my new place: so many cafes and wellness spots owned by Black Women/Queer ppl near me. Worst part: choosing between a Sorrel smoothie or Plantain brulee latte šŸ˜‚

Yesterday, I went to my first Sip and Paint at the Peckham Festival. It was very healing and cathartic. I have forgotten how much I miss that area. I didn't know what to expect as I had never been before. It was lovely to be surrounded by community.

@phycoinsc.bsky.social Hi Phyllis. I checked out the Tower of London today. The most interesting sights were the Crown Jewels. Unfortunately photographing them isn't allowed. Here some exterior pics, as well as the Tower Bridge.

Market haul! Saw two servers from the restaurant as well as a guy who does some photography work for the restaurant. We really are local-food-loving folks at work.

Spent the morning playing Divinity Original Sin: The Board Game at the Arcanist Tavern in Shoreditch. The game is wonderful, and simple to play despite the daunting size of its box. And the Tavern is such a lovely game cafe/bar! London-based tabletop gamer friends, check it out: arcaniststavern.uk
