drained colour 📷minolta 7000/af 50mm f1.7 🎞️orwo wolfen nc500 the piece is called 'captivated by colour' by camille walala. this might have been the worst film stock to capture it but hey maybe that in itself is interesting #photography #art #streetphotography #filmphotography #london
colour film photo photo of artwork inside covered bridge in london. looking straight down the tunnel so it's symmetrical. the piece is called captivated by colour by camille walala, and features different patterns of brightly coloured blocks, though because of the film stock they are very muted.the bright light strip running down the ceiling is reflected from the floor. a few people walking in either direction in the distance

As I approach 40 years of photographing D.C., I’m returning to my archive that shows Washington beyond the monuments.

“For me, water has always been both chaos and freedom. It strips away control and asks us to see ourselves in a different light. That’s where my stories begin.”

Movement Steps cross, shadows stretch. The street becomes a rhythm — fleeting, unrepeatable. Every passerby leaves a trace, every moment dissolves the next. Photography doesn’t freeze time, it reminds us how quickly it moves. #Movement #lassetur #Artist 97010147_6

Movement Everyday life is never still — footsteps, voices, shifting light. Each fragment dissolves into the next, creating an invisible rhythm. Photography freezes that flow, turning movement into something we can hold. #Movement #lassetur #Art 97009966_6

Wide shot and a detail. The basics of any storytelling exercise with a camera, imho. Lovely little street that I visit when I can, in Taito-ku here in Tokyo. In-camera monochrome, with my old Sony a6000.
16x9 monochrome photograph of a bicycle stood up outside a building in Taito-ku, Tokyo. A bamboo blind is in one window. A car is parked inside the building and can be seen behind the patterned glass.
16x9 monochrome photograph of the glass in a building in Taito-ku, Tokyo. A car is parked inside the building and this is a detailed shot of a section of the patterned glass. The glass is sharp and the car behind is out of focus and diffused through the pattern of the glazing.
