An easy way to show just how deeply character A cares for character B is to have character B struggle with someone and try to resolve it on their own. Then show how character A gets frustrated, sad or how they go out of their way to help even when being pushed away. Easy tech & reusable

I'm curious when other #writers feel satisfaction during the writing process? Is it when the book is done? A chapter finished? After exciting scenes? For me I always feel immense pleasure just being there while the characters go about their day and "come to life."

I've had this gnawing at my limbic system for a little while now. I think I'm just going to give in and allow a certain character in LxD to "go off the deep end" and have their "edgelord" arch. Originally I didn't want to but it's literally exactly what they'd do.

I think it's important to make an effort from time to time forcing yourself to write outside of your comfort zone. Don't like short stories? Write one. Can't grasp comedy? Crack a few jokes. While you may never change your mind or stance it will serve to make you more comfortable overall. #writers

I've said this a million times and I will always billion more. If YOU don't feel fulfilled during and after your writing session you should find out why. You may not always feel happy (maybe you wrote something sad or scary) but you shouldn't feel stressed about how much you wrote.

While it's incredibly easy to find yourself in a position where you feel like you can't find the right words to write, I urge you to write anyway. You can always go back and "fix" whatever detail you need to later. Just write now and fret later :3
