outside of the draft, on the big picture and margins, Morey has been slumping Trading Ben for Harden when Haliburton was an option Bungling Harden, extending Embiid who was hurt, creating max space to then use on Paul George... Yabu ... Grimes taking qualifying offer.... been a tough run imo

The podcast was great as usual but Jared is objectively wrong about AJ Green. He played 46 minutes and scored 19 points on 6/11 from three in the final game against the pacers. Not saying you have to like the team but weird to go 10 goes down on Green not playing

Only reason I have the pacers above yall is coaching and the fact they used their depth all thru the season & had success with it. Hornets been tanking for a while & mentally im not sure they’re ready to switch gears tho the talent is there.

One of the subcontractors was probably owned by a black person or a woman. Republicans have been gunning for the 8a program for a while now; in their minds the only companies that should be getting sole source contracts are Haliburton and their ilk.

Pacers’ Rick Carlisle gives Fever shoutout after team’s playoff run

The Indiana Pacers are back for training camp after a run to the NBA Finals last season that many did not see coming. They were able to overcome adversity early last season, and they made a run at the right time to get where they were, facing off against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a Game 7 for the championship. The Indiana Fever could say that they dealt with a similar story as well, as their season came to an end recently after losing to the Las Vegas Aces in Game 5 of the semifinals. Nobody expected the Fever to make it that far, especially considering the injuries that they dealt with in the second half of the season. Head coach Rick Carlisle recently gave his flowers to the Fever for what they were able to accomplish this season. “I want to congratulate the Fever,” Carlisle said via Tony East of Forbes. “Congratulate Stephanie [White] and Kelly [Krauskopf] for their team. Just for a monumental run. They embody everything that Indiana basketball is about. The grit, the guts, and everything else. It was amazing to watch, and they were right there. Sad that it ended, but an amazing run and one of the greatest coaching jobs I’ve ever seen.” Rick Carlisle offers congratulations to the Fever on their run: pic.twitter.com/QnlyV3GmIu — Tony East (@TonyREast) October 1, 2025 Indiana basketball has been a sight to watch this year, and the Pacers are hoping that they can bring that same energy into this season. They will be faced with some challenges, as Tyrese Haliburton is expected to miss the season after suffering an Achilles injury during Game 7 of the NBA Finals last season. The Pacers also lost their big man, Myles Turner, as he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks in free agency. It will now be up to players such as Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, Bennedict Mathurin, Aaron Nesmith, and others to step up and try to stay competitive in the Eastern Conference. I honestly feel better about Cleveland (duh), Knicks (gross), the Pacers even without Tyrese, Orlando, the Hawks, and maybe even Miami depending on if they make moves at the deadline.

I think focusing matchups has it's place but for me, I think it always comes back to working hard and moving the ball. I'm not a huge lover of Iso your match-up to death. Seems like Pacers have been one of the fastest playing teams in the league for a couple years. I was rooting for em tbh.

They were definitely focused on attacking the most favorable matchups. It was a style that won a championship. But Rick Carlisle nailed it this summer...
