Every single time I get asked to look at someone's survey: no validation. Clear priming in question format. Way too long. No reasoning behind some questions. I point out issues, then get told it's already been given to >1000 patients and clinicians. Waste of everyone's time and brain cells. Hate it!

I also almost want to say that p-hacking shouldn't be an issue here because why are we using p-values in an exploratory study to begin with? I like this older Gelman post as well. Even with secondary data, we should be thinking more seriously about design and model-based exploration.

During the last 5 years, gas prices have experienced large variations (positive and negative). As a result, in the linear regression the overall contribution is almost zero. The authors did a quick secondary analysis without the 2021–2023 period.
