I hadn’t seen Tool since high school and a guy I was seeing was like maaaybe you can go w/ me and my friends to see them at MSG. Maybe! So, I found 2 crazy cheap front row seats and guitarist Chris flew in from Ohio for it. Best part was seeing him so happy. The back of my head is in this pic :)

Messages that make my day

Rock music is more important than a soundtrack for escaping to everything is perfect land. It is a release, a cleansing. A friend who walks with you, assuring you are not alone in your pain. A channel for working through what is easier to suppress or morph into hate. It is messy and necessary.
