old man victor....oldest villain i have more info on him in alt txt #ocs
an elderly man with a metallic bionic eye in a black suit. im not gonna talk a whole lot all you need to know is he's vincent's dad, he's a weaver like jonni but they are not related, victor's wife left him and took his eye in the divorce. he has turned some grifters against lord z and now they work for him. victor tried to rip a hole in the fabric of reality using his sons heart as a catalyst leaving vincent with a small hole in the center of his chest. he tired to convince jane, matt, spencer and jacques and even a young wish sprite to work with him as he wants to control the super powered beings that can wield terra magic popping up left and right and eventually harness the power of the solar generator. victor has spent the last 20 or so years trying to catch or kill them to no success, his machines malfunction often, his rage and ego get the better of him, he may be obsessed with dez a bit too much.

okay Finally here is Jonni's read the alt text for more context #ocs
cw: i mention brain parasites in the last few sentences. Jonni is a dreamonic weaver. His magic deals with Dreams, illusions, Emotions, and the subconscious. Weavers are creatures that move the fabric of reality forward in time, as well as keep the physical realm intact by repairing the ripped seams that start to naturally occur in the fabric. Jonni fell through one of these rips when he was young and it lead him to the physical realm, now he resides on a moon orbiting Hylox typically alone. though, over the years he's learned how to teleport to the planet below, as well as astral project into terra beings dreams/psyches with his dreamonic magic. he can heal terra being's ailments and travel through shadows/pigment. typically he's a very reserved, silent person, he's seen this planets inhabitants come and go many many times and the solar generator/dez go dormant. as well as the solar system come under new management. so he spares himself the heartache and tends to avoid getting attached to terra beings in anything other than dreams - interfering could also grab the attention of Perry who scraps with Jonni on sight. but sometimes Jonni truly cant help but get involved on Hylox, he was once a bit of a trickster when Dez ran the place, as it would signal the solar generator to awaken and send a vessel to Hylox to fix the chaos Jonni caused. so going on that logic, Jonni tends to cause problems for Perry on purpose in an attempt to wake Dez back up from his slumber. Jonni hopes to bring order back to the planets and so he can be with Dez once again. when Dez is asleep the solar system is susceptible to parasites like nebule worms. they burrow into a creatures psyche and drains them of magic. Weavers are these worms natural hosts- what im saying is jonni gets brain worms sometimes and he can lose himself a little.

an anthropomorphic salmon colored cat with a navy blue low cut dress and shoes of the same color, a beauty mark sits on her right cheek this Mia dated my oc Sebastian when they both lived in the saints metropolitan, this was before Dez woke up from his big sleep, Toons were beginning to wake up from their dormancy and populate Hylox thanks to Quinn Enterprises, allowing a magic threshold to form once again, albeit weaker than it once was but it allowed terra beings to use magic. the discovery led Mia to the coast to experience the night life there, possibly make connections. she met Sebastian who was still in his human disguise, it confused Mia "does he not know he doesn't have to hide around here?" they have a lot of back and forth together and get swept up in a romance i initially made this au just because the names of the main characters in the film lala land are Sebastian and Mia - just a silly unserious one, that movie is so corny i love it. but its starting to develop into its own thing.

lord z is an alien from a neighboring planet in dez's solar system. he hide in the raw wish magic, deposits inside hylox. using it to build his own personal magical realm of monsters. he and a couple others came to Hylox to syphon the raw wish magic from the caverns underground in hopes of healing their own planet, however a part of him was injured in an intense battle forcing him into hiding underground in order to heal it, now he sits and waits growing stronger, and growing an army of magentic wish monsters in hopes of invading the surface. a cartoonishly over the top evil villain, you know how it is.
Zalgo ref sheet, he is a tall shadow creature with spikes that jut out all over, mouths and eyes sprout from his arms and chest, his legs resemble spider paws, ungulate hooves and heeled shoes all in one, a long pink cape flows behind him, his head is a skull with large spiked horns his mouth leaks raw magentic magic, his head its not attached to his body it just floats above his chest. the text reads essentially what i wrote on the prior pic's alt txt in addition to this: lord z's body is incomplete and very chaotic as he is still healing from his fight. he controls where the spikes and mouths show up on his body, he switches it up to vent parts of his body of Red mist. he used to walk amongst the four caverns of the under realm but now he rarely leaves his underground lair in the pit. to pass the time he likes to torment monsters who oppose him in elaborate ways. he and his dedicated followers have kept the place running for a millennia....

Vincent is one of my oldest ocs, very intelligent and passionate about his studies and experiments, he's always been a bit of a stickler for the rules, he's a bit over dramatic and tends to withdraw when hes upset. he's always trying to be better than who he was raised to be. he's thoughtful, resourceful and extremely goofy. He is dreamonic on his mother side, his heart magic was drained and replaced with pigment catalyst by his father, which caused Vincent's dreamonic magic to rush in and combine with the catalyst, it temporarily manifests his dreams into reality (usually his nightmares) the illusions leak out through the enchantment scar on his body- its a diamond shaped hole in the center of his chest + several dark lighting scars that cover his body. sometimes it overwhelms him, the compound leaking out of every scar- he has really scary intrusive thoughts especially when hes sad or angry which makes it incredibly hard for him to tell whats real and what isnt. he learns to somewhat control and understand these powers, but he still struggles a lot. when he was younger he was very loyal to victor, he feared him a lot and obeyed him in hopes of getting his approval. Vincent excelled in his studies and got involved with the science of magic to impress his dad, he almost turned against his friends as a child due to victor promising him he would be proud of him if he did so but vincent finally recognized that he needed to fight back and rebel if he ever wanted to be his own person. Victor became unrelenting in his attacks once he felt powerless to vincent, it infuriated him. it went on for years, it almost broke Vincent it made him scared to leave his home, he withdrew from his friends and unfortunately Victor did end up capturing him in the end, sticking the corrective goggles on him during a moment of weakness Victor caught Vincent in, and eventually locked Vincent and several others away underground i've reached limit the text limit but ill tell u the rest someday.

Ezvent is a fusion between a wish sprite (Dez) and Vincent it's not a very stable fusion as they do not get along very much during this time. they cannot unfuse on command so they must learn to get along. he has four eyes and two mouths, yellow and black hair, his four his striped sleeves are blue, yellow and black his hands have rubber gloves on. he retains vincent's labcoat buttons and collar but his coat cuts off at his midriff and stripes cover the rest of his body, his boots and like dez's boots but pointier, a symbol that looks like the combination of a V and a D printed on the chest of his coat, i don't want to talk about him too much yet but lore wise but yeah. also sorry for putting johnny depp wonka on here

Jacques, he is a big tall strong trans masc tattoo artist who can turn into a big serpent monster sometimes. #ocs
age: 33 Birthdate: December 18 1989 he's bi Jacques inherited a giant serpent form from his mother, it rests in his heart magic. its been resting in his family for generations due to the magical threshold vanishing as the solar generator went into sleep mode. it awoke within Jacques, due to the new artificial threshold that's started to appear on Hylox. He can temporarily shift into this giant serpent form, he grew taller very quickly and his family didn't know what to make of it. he fled his house around 16 years old in hopes of getting to his aunts, as many forces were making attempts to abduct him and he didn't know how to make his new powers "work" when he wanted them to. Victor from Avrix co. perused him for days after Jacques destroyed a portion of his home city attempting to flee. However Jacques ran into a group of self proclaimed super heroes who took him in to their hideout, preventing him from getting snatched up by Victor. While he did learn how to use and control his terra magic from the others, He was always skeptical of the morals the team held in regards how they dealt with Grifters they faced, but kind of felt trapped in this hideout along side them. Jacques developed feelings for one of his teammates which also seemed to keep him around. However, it was revealed to Jacques and Matt one Christmas eve that a member of their team had been betraying them, their secret base was compromised by Avrix Co., Jacques and Matt decided the best thing to do would be to disappear together. They ended up moving to a city called Saints and both realized quickly they could hold their own against Victor if he tried to mess with them. well, that is until Matt vanished one day. after his disappearance and Jacques' search efforts coming up Nothing. He simply continued to work his day job, he occasionally hangs out with Perry who comes over to his place during the winter. Sometimes even wish sprites will visit him as some are trying to find Matt as well.

Oscar used to live at a laboratory where He and many others were used in tests that focused on communicating to animals using a variety of methods, including the use of new magic* which was finally gaining global power. in Oscars case, he was injected with a serum that was supposed to endow him with the ability to experience and understand human emotions, potentially unlocking the barrier to communicate with him. but it ended up doing much more than that, it unlocked a tremendous power within him, the magic itself was infused into his body granting him abilities he has yet to fully understand. *a new form of magic that has spread across Hylox. an artificial magic manufactured by a company called Quinn Enterprises

Sal and Sebastian + bios in alt txt #ocs
Sal uses his big intimidating size and loud, humorous personality to his advantage whenever possible, but he's very aware of when he's in over his head, he is a rather sensitive, and can be incredibly sweet. he spent many many years traveling around making connections, trying to make money and has picked up many skills, he's learning how to use magic currently as the magic threshold has returned, he bar tends every night.
Sebastian was born to Zoe and Carter Quinn. At an early age he began to show signs he could use magic to make the plush toys his father's company produced move and dance on their own. At 10 he was able to put on complete performances with hundreds of them while maintaining his human disguise which prompted his father to exploit his talents to the public. the family headed north as his fathers company began to grow. the magic Sebastian possessed began to alter his appearance and his father pushed him to start using an illusion form which he was conditioned into using and hiding behind for many many years, it took him many years to master. he was often ridiculed by his father for not hiding his appearance. despite all of it he was a good enough salesman to scrape by without too much flack. he worked for his father, traveling up and down the coastline selling products - he stumbled into a relationship here and there , got married and divorced and on top of all that; After taking over his fathers company he discovered the terrible secret of the plush toys magic diffusing abilities they are the same species and he is, they're Toons. But they're being forced into a state of dormancy which causes a threshold of new magic to fizzle out of their sleeping bodies. In Seb's distraught state he got into an accident turning himself into a small plush version of himself using the same technology, he uses his new discreet form as an opportunity to leave and start a new life - getting a bit ripped up in the process- he winds up meeting Sal and bonding with him after Sal offers to stitch him back up. they spend time together trying to track down an old friend of Sebastian's (Mia) and Sebastian hangs out with him at the bar Sal works at. he often plays the piano there. they will occasionally sneak out and attempt to wake up the plush dolls made by Quinn enterprises using his magic.

Ozul my bozul. #ocs #pastamonsters
Ozul is a very large and powerful Shiver, which is an under realm species of monster that was creature to attend to lord z's second half. Ozul was born in the southern sea, she was a big fish in the pond there as a kid, a real bully mostly because she was bored- they had to pull her out of her classes and forced to attend classes at the western institute, where she continued to be the biggest fish (minus the pond). she met Jay shortly after, and Jay quickly earned her respect by being the only one to venture into cave hound tunnels with her to find claws and teeth. However she had to leave him suddenly as she was one of the Shivers selected to attend a special school in the inner city that would help her prepare for a career as a Butcher. she had to carry out surface missions for classes still, which landed her a lot of notoriety. Her partner during these missions was named Julian, a human turned Shiver from the surface that Ozul was unable to relate to most of the time. once she graduated she took on the butcher position full time for a couple years, it paid well and they gave her a place to stay. all she had to do was cut up and process dead bodies and she loved it for the most part, she even reunited and worked along side Jay as he was in a relationship with their boss and got a job through her. the only problem was Julian was always there with Ozul- he hated working there, he kept reminding her that what they're doing is wrong- directly or indirectly. it got through to her eventually, and she begrudgingly quit due to not being able to look at it the same way. hopping from one job to the next- she suddenly ran into a young girl named Nina, she was a human turned Shiver that came down there looking for Ozul specifically, admiring her work and begged to be Ozul's under study. Ozul felt a bit guilty as Nina had given up her surface life for Her, She felt like she owed Nina protection and guidance. Ozul wound up becoming gate guard to provide for Nina and herself.

wren is just a little creature don't worry about it.... he rows a boat down the river to different ports in the under realm listening to all their stories and grievances from the monsters he takes a long for a ride- he doesn't mind the conversation, he's met Jay Benny and Pris they all went to the institute together. he passively watched their friendship blossom and fall apart but didn't get a chance to know them on a deeper level until after they all graduated. Wren's illusion form is a prionodon linsang which he uses when he's on the surface usually traveling at night to get snacks from the gas station or to steal a car

Thema wears a bright yellow knitted cardigan with orange sun designs all over it, underneath she wears a long burnt orange turtle neck and skirt, she has a wish stone around her neck. Thema believes that the Sun deity will wake up from it's slumber and bring the natural threshold back to the planet. Regardless of the drought, magic has been a huge part of her life, her parents were also firm believers they would be able to cast their old spells again. Thema has taught the motions for casting spells to her two kids, Marcus and Roxy to prepare them both for the future when lord z and his minions rise from the Under Realm, she is very distrustful of New Magic being produced by Quinn Enterprises and the Red Magentic magic that the folks in the Under Realm use. ---- Marcus' is very tall, they have a box undercut , the ends of their locs fade into a bright periwinkle. they wear a purple button up, grey pants, with black boots and a long black velvet coat embroidered with vines and blue flowers that Thema made for them. Marcus' ancestors were powerful sorcerers that specialized in Sulferic magic before the solar generator went into sleep mode. Marcus has learned a great deal about magic from their mother. Marcus has read several spell books that were passed down in the family, Thema told them stories about the under realm and wish sprites, and even though they had their doubts about her beliefs, Marcus followed the older practices for her. Marcus encouraged her to learn how to use the new magic that Quinn Enterprises is producing alongside him and she refused. One night, Marcus witnessed Roxy heading through one of the Gates to the fabled Under Realm but was unable to stop her before the gate vanished. stunned, seeing undeniable proof that the Under Realm actually exists, Marcus contacted Louis through social media. they hired Louis to aid him and his mother in finding a way into the Under Realm. Thema finally caved and began to learn the new practices from Marcus.
Louis a 32 year old man with round glasses, with long dark hair red button up shirt baggy pants and a pair of worn leather boots, he wears a tan corduroy jacket as well as a necklace with a medallion that looks like the sun. Louis is a strong believer in the return of the magic threshold. He's enamored with the history of Hylox prior to the magical drought, the ancient subterranean maze, and the legend of the Under Realm. he was hired by a like-minded person named Marcus to help them locate Marcus' sister; Roxy. they are both convinced Roxy was kidnapped by a creature from the Under Realm. Louis is also looking for his brother Jay, who he's convinced was also kidnapped by the same creatures ----- Roxy has coily hair that reaches her shoulders she has a long suede purple jacket with a purple shirt and shorts, the heels of her purple knee high boots resemble icicles Roxy has always wanted to use magic, She'd be completely enamored with her mothers stories, and she romanticized the idea of being a cool witch as a teenager. New magic didn't do it for her as that magic required an entirely different method to channel that her mother didn't know anything about or want anything to do with. Roxy was convinced to join the Under Realm after a Grifter promised her that she would be able to use magentic magic in exchange for her loyalty to lord z. She didn't change much appearance wise when the Grifter bound lord Z to her, but for the first time ever she felt real magic flowing through her that she could control, all the motion techniques her mother taught her was finally being put to good use. She's been in the under realm ever since, trying to hone her new skills at the Northern mage guild. she is in a relationship with a Shiver named Jermaine.

Jane, i simply cannot deny her existence. she has the ability to run Very Fast, she can travel through electrical wires, she can conduct and control electricity by whistling through her tooth gap she has hard time flying tho. unfortunately she becomes a cop, she gets better tho. #ocs
Jane has platinum blonde hair cut into a long shaggy bob. she's very confident and powerful, determined to be this Hylox's ultimate super hero- her hot temper and strength make her intimidating. she cares deeply about her friends but she makes it clear she's top position in the pecking order. Jane spent her early life in an extremely unsafe environment. once she started developing her abilities, she ran away from home. Victor managed to locate her, sending Vincent in as a way to lure her to Avrix Grove. there she began honing her powers and became extremely useful to Victor. Matt and Jane used to butt heads a lot, they were rivals- always arguing and challenging each other, she thought it was fun and a great with to train with him. she would snap at Vincent for not getting stronger and pushed him to do better, she was pretty neutral with Spencer, as he was fairly quiet and followed orders when they were all at Avrix. Jane quickly started becoming Victor's favorite- Victor appointed her as leader and push her even harder. Her and her peers were collectively pushing each other to exhaustion, Jane however kept pushing herself regardless. fed up, Spencer fled Avrix Grove. Jane and Matt followed him to bring him back, but Spencer got through to both of them and made them realize Victor wasn't a good person. Jane would never admit it but she empathized with him, she claimed that she would join them both to protect them. When they returned to get Vincent he refused to go with them out of fear and they could not get Sypio as she was in a big fish tank. Their escape enraged Victor, he began pursuing them. at first it was gentle but his mask started to slip. they eventually got through to Vincent and he fled as well. this caused Victor to ripped the mask off and he start trying to capture them instead, solidifying the groups decision to fight against him for the next 20 or so years. they tangled with Victor and his henchmen, and the under realm monsters for many many years.

Mark is Matt's brother by about 2 years however they began developing their powers around the same time, giving them both terra powers that also began to alter their appearance - including sprouting wings. around the time he was 16 his family handed Mark and his brother over to Victor as they were fed up with the trouble they were causing and, feeling betrayed, Mark fled. Mark spent the next couple of years in hiding off in the woods taking the form of a black sheep at times to avoid Victor, he would narrowly avoid several under realm Grifters, they really messed with his mind trying desperately to get him to join Lord Z. Other times theyd mistake him for a Grifter himself due to his gargoyle like appearance, the more he practiced his Terra magic the more his skin would harden and become the color of grey stone. despite the hostility he faced, he managed to befriend Perry. she appreciated that Mark was respectful to her plants and animals. and Mark liked that they shared the same enemies. Once Mark heard of his brother's escape from Avrix Grove, he went looking for Matt and ended up joining his little team of "super heroes" as Jane described it to him. Mark and Jane ended up dating for a year or so during this time, and Mark, being incredibly unsocialized and jaded as he had become from having to deal with so many manipulative creatures abusing his trust, he found it hard to trust her and anyone else there especially Vincent. He fled quietly in the night without informing anyone, opting to live in the woods nearby. despite all of it, he still wanted to make sure his brother was safe at least. every so often he would jump in to help matt when the team was in over their heads. when Jane found out he was still alive she punched him square in the face, leaving a crack. thankfully, Perry was there to pick Mark up off his feet once again, inviting him to keep her forests clean of Grifters and keep the magic on Hylox spiraling in harmony, and that's where he is today.

SPENCER the goodest boy #ocs
Spencer is an anthro character with many different animal traits like a rats tail and a long snout. he was the first of the super powered terra beings to be found. It was a bit hard to lure him in as he was quite skittish but he inevitably joined Victor after meeting his best friend; Vincent. Spencer would catch Vincent stagnating, unable to come up with any ideas and Spencer would give him suggestions. This lead to them both being besties and doing experiments together all the time. Vincent admired his curiosity and Spencer admired his knowledge. This grew into an incredibly close bond that's lasted for decades, though they do get in trouble with Katie for blowing up the lab occasionally. Spencer obtains a number of hobbies of the years including playing various instruments, sword fighting and hes pretty good and video games- but he has a hard time recognizing his talents as Victor and his peers would often be dismissive of his interests, or simply unable to relate- it caused Spencer to flee Avrix Grove. Matt, Jane, and Sypio soon follow him. While Spencer holds tremendous power including the ability to shift into a large beast and is skilled in fencing/sword fighting. He's not the most coordinated when fighting, often distracted and at times a bit cowardly, usually causing upset amongst the group, he was always seen as someone unable to hold his own. It gave him some complexes, it causes him to flip flop between being really apathetic and beat himself up and being really determined to be as amazing as the pedestal he holds all his peers on. He constantly craves intimacy and companionship so he's always reaching out to talk to people and learn everything he can from them, maybe flirt with some if he's feeling rarely confident, he also smokes a big weed. He has many powerful allies on Hylox including Perry, Vincent, Jonni, Dez, Jane, Matt and many many others. Victor often avoids targeting him directly, due to not wanting to get jumped by all of them at once.

Matt grew up constantly dealing with a furious and vengeful ancestor that essentially haunts his psyche, this ghost is named Sir Xavier Of Hylox. When Matt was younger this ghost have more of an influence over Matt encouraging him to win, train get stronger, and challenge the other titian around him; Jane. but once matt met jaques as a teen things began to change, unlike jane who doubled down - Matt was beginning to question where these strange monsters they were fighting were coming from and was really tired of being Janes rival - finding more fulfillment in introspecting and learning what he can from Vincent, as well as managing the planet's weather crisis. Xavier, trying to pilot a lifetime this isn't his, was finally losing his grip of Matt, unfortunately Vincent's father; Victor had uncovered an artifact that he had been searching for: the Magentic crown. once placed on Matts head it shifts his "Hue" and allows Lord Xavier to take full control of Matts body - this enchanted item is what lead to the development of the technology in Victor's corrective goggles. for freeing him, Xavier pledges his loyalty to Victor. now Xavier patrols and guards the light house where Vincent resides fighting off many of his old friends.

ok Mia and Kit AND Xis #ocs
Mia is a nebule cat, nebule cats in particular love to make and run solar systems like art pieces rather than experiments the live in a giant castle atop pink cosmic dust. the magic Mia uses is a mixture of dreamonic and magentic. she is a run away princess, she decided she did not want to take up the responsibility to run solar systems and instead opted to hide on Hylox amongst the terra beings. she can make copies of her corporeal form which- which travel around Hylox and have their own separate lives, it makes it hard to track down the "original". she spends most of her time messing with Victor and foiling his plans to take control of the solar generator and the terra titans. though some of her copies turned on her and began helping him in the past. when a copy of mia "dies" all her memories are transported to the original Mia, which can be extremely overwhelming for her as she's taking on all the pain as well- copies were not meant to last years and years, they are simply a way for nebule cats to "scan" locations and gather information without actually traveling there. the original mia , is quite old now and lives a quiet life by the coast with xis who has taken up the duties of foiling Victor's plans. (the reason she has so many versions of herself is because this is one of my oldest RP characters, i put her in several different AUs and wanted to combine them into one character much like Dezun)
Kit is a spunky, silly and quite snarky tiny adventurer. very mischievous likes to play pranks on under realm folks and humans she runs into, she's prone to explosive meltdowns as she has every color of magic at her disposal she just doesn't know how to use them very well yet. Kit is Mia and Dez's kid, though unfortunately the wish sprite and Mia clone that were caring for Kit and Xis, perished....shortly after Kit got separated from Xis as she was tempted by Grifters. however, Perry had been stalking the same Grifters tempting Kit. Perry rescued her but couldn't shake the kid afterwards, Kit pursued Perry and ended up attracting more trouble that Perry had to help her out of, and getting swept up into more adventures afterwards - over time Perry begrudgingly grew attached to Kit and took Kit under her wing, especially after she learned the fate of her parents. now Kit and Perry search far and wide to take out any Grifters they see. Xis is Jonni and Dez's kid, the one pictured is 10- hes very powerful but is easily frightened, he has high respect for elders and tries his best to respect them, but he's ultimately still a curious kid who will break the rules. Jonni instructed Xis to go to the surface and find a wish sprite, as Jonni was dealing with a swarm of nebule worms and was unsure of how long he could hold them off. Jonni knew Xis would be safer on Hylox should Jonni succumb to these attacks. Xis eventually found Dez and Mia, unfortunately this particular wish sprite didn't know Xis or Jonni, but regardless Dez and Mia welcomed Xis in as he had nowhere to go and wanted protection. they also get swept up into adventures as Dez and Mia were mercenaries at this time.

Priscilla grew up in the under realm. she mostly resided in The Pit. being the most humanoid out of all of her insectoid family made growing up a bit awkward. regardless, her parents pushed her just as hard as everyone else her in family, as they were all extremely powerful magic users in lord z's army. Around the time she was 15, she had to transfer to the Western institute as the school that she attended ended up getting damaged by Lord z's second half pushing up out of the ground. She met Jeff and Benny at her new school, she found them interesting because they were so different, plus they were the only two who reached out to talk to her, they were both impressed by her "sick" magical capabilities. She didn't know much about the surface as her family had no reason to travel there. most of them are heavily involved with underground work. she was almost a bit sus of Benny and Jay due to her upbringing, so she began to research all that was available on down the surface down there, she ended up becoming fascinated with it. Her family discouraged her from getting involved with surface work as it was unreliable and embarrassing. she ignored them as she had finally gotten an idea in her head of a different more independent life she could be living. she had a bit of a "rebellious" period by attending surface study classes and avoiding her family with the help of Benny and Jay. unfortunately Her and Benny started to harbor some resentment for each other as he began to go down a path she really couldn't understand or wanted to accept, it all boiled over in an explosive argument and they haven't spoken since. Around the same time Jay moved deeper into the center of the under realm to live/work there, leaving Pris to finish her education alone. she grew a bit cold over it, and a bit guilty. But she pressed onward determined to finish her studies. As of now she is getting ready to graduate and hopes to live as close to the western gate as she possibly can once she's done.
Benny was bound to lord z on the brink of death it caused a copy of his favorite video game to bind to his heart magic and gave him a pale ghostly elf-like appearance. since he never agreed to the initial deal with the Grifters that tempted him, the enchantment kind of fucked up, his body was now super charged on pure Magentic energy. it's a type of "magical corruption" that sometimes can happen when Grifters fuck up the transfiguration spell. it's called Awol Digititus the treatment is giving the subject a prescription of blood sugar, which will balance the enchantment out. if people with the affliction are left in a "sober" state for too long it can lead to very destructive consequences- they can actually be ripped apart by the enchantment. the grifters subdued benny, and they confiscated his weapons: a sword and shield. Once Benny was brought to the institute they started giving him meds. which he began to abuse in his late teens. getting him into a lot of trouble and costing him friendships left and right. even though he resented the fact that he was essentially kidnapped and brought down here and getting corrupted by incompetent grifters, he decided to fully commit to lord z and work as one of his eastern guards. as it granted him the privilege getting paid leave 9 months out of the year. while his new job grants him unlimited blood sugar, he cannot abuse it when on duty much to his dismay. he spends this time training with a sword and practicing his Magentic Electromancy. he's often the unofficial tech guy at his job as before joining he gained some coding skills from simply having access to computers and hes good with them n shit. benny is really blunt and sarcastic, he likes to get a rise out of people affectionately though he often takes the bit too far. regardless of his mischief, he will have his friends backs more than most as they have done the same for him. he can command the attention of entire audiences with his charisma + he's just a lil guy
Jay (also goes by Jeffery) is a human who was bound to lord z, the enchantment caused his skeleton Halloween mask to fuse to his face. this transformation was performed by a Grifter named Xander, it happened when Jay was very young. the Grifter brought him to an underground world populated by monsters that raised him called the Under Realm. He went to a school in the under realm at a place called the western institute where he met his friends Ozul, Priscilla and Benny. they got up to all sorts of shenanigans together he has a cave hound named Smile who is his loyal emotional support animal , he help's jay with his chronic nightmares- a side effect of his particular enchantment. he was unable to finish school as he obtained a very demanding but well paying job in the center of the under realm - he helped processes food for Lord z's second half along side Ozul he also got a gig with Benny as entertainers at Ripley's Venue unfortunately a lovers quarrel with his ex Adena cost him his job and living space, he had to leave his gig and Benny behind. he is in his late 20s now, and he lives in an apartment with his boss and somewhat of a surrogate father: Shiloh. Shiloh took him in after his break up and gave Jay a job as a Runner. Shiloh sends him to the surface to erase any detailed knowledge of the Under Realm, or silence anyone who knows too much. though. Jay is not very good at his job. He lives a very isolated lifestyle he doesn't have many friends aside from Priscilla and Nina who come to see him occasionally. He is currently in the midst of trying to get his life together, reaching out to old friends, taking his job seriously, hopefully his dog doesn't go missing.....

Jake was the middle child in his household and was often in his older brothers shadow. He was always involved in sports namely football and baseball he met his girlfriend Lara who thought he was funny and liked to come over and hang out with him and his dogs - Jakes family would joke about them dating all the time and eventually Jake asked Lara out on a proper date that his family coached him into - the night was a failure but he still did end up falling into a relationship with her once he was honest with her about everything. They have confided a lot in each other over the years it developed into a very close bond and he didn't even realize it. Jake grew tremendously taller and he gained a lot of strength over the span of a couple years. he became linebacker on the west saints football team as suggested by his older brother and he finally nailed it, now he's on his way to a scholarship if he keeps up his efforts, and since he's good at it and everyone wants him to do it he keeps at it. ever since he got on the team he's begun to act out and be kind of a bully to other kids, mostly encouraged by his teammates, though, around adults he tends to get preachy and self righteous towards his peers to stay in their good graces- his teammates started pushing him to break up with Lara essentially because she's the "weird girl" who doesn't fit in with the rest. He desperately wants Lara to stay in his life but has gotten a taste of a new life where he has more control and friends, in a last ditch effort to keep her in his life he is trying to "guide" her - much like a coach would, so she is "good enough" for his new friends. he has a Labrador he's raised from a puppy named Duke and a blue heeler named Jasmine, he loves them very much.
(animal death cw) Lara was raised by the north coast, by her mother and father; Samantha Wilkerson and Will Robert both are biologists, her folks split up and she moved to West Saints with Samantha and Lara's Grandfather Doyle. Lara's father would put a lot of distrust into her about her mom out of pettiness over the divorce before she was given to Sam in custody battles. When Lara arrived to her new house, she was not thrilled. she used to live in a city and was now being forced into tending to her grandfathers property. She did not cope well after she was forced to put her dog down herself as he had contracted rabies. she held her mom and grandfather accountable for it and grew very resentful, in response Samantha got her signed up in sports which helped her meet her best friend Madison and her boyfriend Jacob, they played a big part in why she didn't completely lose her mind to grief, they would hang out all the time - inseparable friends they did everything together and while Madison went a bit too far with her reckless behavior, and Jake was kind of an arrogant wise guy- Lara cared about them- Jake and Madison however, were simply around for Lara and eventually her friend group split. ever since Jake has grown emotionally distant but somehow extremely possessive and clingy towards Lara at the same time. while Madison stayed the same but became very fleeting- even more so when she moved away. As of now, Lara spends her time volunteering at the sun temple or walking around the woods on her property attempting to practice New Magic, It's aided her in becoming a fantastic gardener she loves to grow giant lavender and chamomile bushes to make flavored syrups in the spring. she has a fascination with the weather titian Matthew. she's never spoken to him out of fear but, occasionally she has seen him flying over their property making it rain. she loves 80s pop music, she really wants another dog. she's currently at the end of her junior year in high school
