My father is on his deathbed. His doctor said he'll just sleep more and more until he doesn't wake up, and he seems to have come to terms with that.
A lifelong atheist, he maintained religion was a crutch. My grandmother always said an atheist never dies as they always repent at the last moment.

Try to be a good person. You can be a good person who’s Christian. Or Hindu. Or Atheist. Or anything you want to be.
We don’t actually have to argue about if Jesus or Mohammed or Buddha did or said anything problematic because the goal is for you and me to be good people.

True to Marx's namesake, he has no fondness for organized religion and no use for personal faith. He's as close to an atheist as one can be in a world where the gods are objectively real.

Happy Sunday. As an atheist if someone tells me they are Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu or a non-evangelical Christian I think to each his own. But if someone tells me they are evangelical I assume they are a hateful hypocrite until they prove me wrong. My 2 oldest friends failed to prove me wrong.
