My common frustration with ATProto apps at the moment is this. I don’t want to grant you access to modify and delete all of my data. I know that more scoped permissions are coming, but right now this makes me feel like I can’t get involved in the Atmosphere.

Our team is building open algorithmic feeds for ATProto. The big bet here is not that we can make something radically better than the platforms, but radically more collaborative. We're building tools for everyone to experiment with the problem. And choose what they like best from the results.

kind of interesting that it's not hard to add some realtime behaviors to atproto apps just by listening to jetstream from the client. no server needed

pdsls.dev now also shows rotation keys in the identity tab

If you're curious if your account has a rotation key or not I've found atproto-browser.vercel.app to be the easiest way to get a "yes or no". Search your handle, and scroll to the rotation key portion. - 2 keys, on bluesky PDS, probably not - 1 key, on a 3rd party PDS, probably not - 3 keys, yeah

There is a specific type of poster here who, if you try to inform them of how ATProto works will sneer at you and insult you for trying, but then every few months will be *outraged* at finding out how a key part of the protocol works as if nobody told them.

when will we have #atproto version of Notion?
seems like it is one of the best place where lexicons can shine.
Notion sucks as we can't own our data.
Markdown isn't proper replacement for Notion. (no unified syntax)
Local first note apps can't be used as a collaboration tool.
