If we don't get on top of wealth inequality, our society, as we know it - a place with decent infrastructure, decent wages, decent housing, decent healthcare, and decent life expectancy - is over. This is a fantastic and very necessary fundamental step to achieve that. join.greenparty.org.uk

The Green Party want to Abolish Landlords and the media are losing their minds about it! Anyone can see this policy is desperately needed. We need to build millions of council houses, cap rents, make homes fit for the future and we need the end landlord profiteering. @elliechowns.bsky.social

I attended the Senior Medics AGM and shared updates on my NHS work—campaigning for Torbay Hospital’s rebuild and stopping vital cardiology services moving to Exeter. We also discussed health challenges in Torbay, especially the impact of deprivation on children. Grateful for the warm reception

I think health is basically a proxy for poverty / inequality with regard to the link to voting Refuk. I wonder if GB 'News' explained to its viewer(s) how Farage's dream of privatising healthcare, slashing spending and cutting taxes, all to benefit the millionaires, would improve things? 🤔

To get a private Covid jab, £99 quid plus trip to central London travel clinic. Not to overdramatise I needed soon, and I could have got for £10 less if I could have waited. Really interesting looking at wastelands for this service. Health inequalities twofold, it costs, and no offer in poor areas
