First Date - pg. 1 #BlanksfordComic

Page of text that reads:

"Originally this page held the sticker designs
for the 4 main characters. (Like if I ever sold
a physical version of the comic I'd want it to
come with 4 free stickers included.)

But for this release I wanted to just say
these characters and this story have been
updated and reworked a lot in the two years
since I first wrote it. So while the story is
mostly correct to canon there are some small
story details that aren't quite right.
For example Katie would probably be in the
apartment scenes in the first and last pages,
Madi would have more tattoos, and a few
smaller details during the actual date too.

And also I hope you can excuse the art
on the pages where I ran out of steam.
This comic is mostly for me and these
characters are so in my head that I can
read it almost the same with or without the
actual imagery of the comic that's missing.
And if I didn't release this unfinished but
technically readable version I doubt I
would have released the comic at all."

Taylor: "So how'd you two even get together?"
Madi: "Oh my gosh yeah, tell us the story."

Aeri: "Well after they saved me from Artemis I was obviously feeling pretty shaken up. They let me hang out at their place until I was feeling better. But after I went home. I couldn't sleep."

A few panels from a page of my comic. They are all sketches mostly taken from pics of the physical rough draft.

Panel 1: Gabby is on Aeri's back as they are flying through the air.
Gabby: "So are you ready?"
Aeri: "For what?"
Gabby: "To test your wings and catch me."

Panel 2: Gabby teleports away with a "PWOOF" leaving only a subtle orange outline.

Aeri has caught up to Gabby as they were falling through the air. In panel 1 they're both upside down and have just managed to reach each other's hands. Wind lines are drawn shown how fast they're moving downwards. Panel 2 is a close-up of their faces smiling both a little bit closer to each other. And finally Panel 3 zooms back out and they are now holding each other close still upside down and falling through the air.

A few panels from a page of my comic.
In the first panel Gabby is holding up a phone, on it is messages from Aeri with a little silhouette of her face in the corner, "Sorry I'm running late but I'll be there soon." "I had to find the right outfit for tonight."
In the second and third panel Gabby sees the message and smiles then starts typing. "Type * Type * Type"
The fourth 'panel' is just the phone but zoomed in a bit, with the messages. From Gabby: "Can't wait to see it. I'm sure you look perfect." And then a pink heart emote. Then from Aeri: "Thanks!" "Alright, heading in now. :D"

Gabby: "Hey, how are you doing after yesterday?"
Aeri: "Good actually! You definitely turned it around for me."
Gabby: "Oh, did our little test flight help?"
Aeri: "Yeah, it really did. My wings handled another person way better than I thought they would too."

A full page panel from my comic. In it Gabby and Aeri enter the CyberSpace arcade "Wyvern's Den" from the previous page of the comic.
At the top of the panel there is a fossil of a wyvern overlooking the arcade. A few silhouettes of various arcade-goers are scattered around the room standing near various types of arcade machines as well as a prize booth in the corner underneath the wyvern.
There's a small panel of Gabby's face looking excited saying, "Is that an actual fucking wyvern fossil?"
Then Aeri responds with, "Sure is. In CyberSpace she's more alive, but I think it's better getting to see the actual fossil as is."
Gabby responds, "It's so cool like this!, and it's so much bigger than I thought.

The final page of my comic. It shows 6 pictures from Aeri's POV.

The first one is a mirror selfie with Aeri in a black dress.
"♪WHHEEEW♪"
"Oops, that's from the day before."
"Well you look nice."

The second one is a pic of Gabby stealing some food off of Aeri's plate, trying to be sneaky about it. (This one is just a sketch with no color.)

The third one is just text that says "Gabby shows Aeri some street art they did."

The fourth one is Aeri and Gabby holding hands with a heart behind it that has their initials showing.

The fifth one (also a non-colored sketch) is in the middle a game of Air Hockey that Gabby is playing.

And the final one which takes up half the page, is Aeri and Gabby smiling as Aeri hugs Gabby from behind to take the selfie.
