And they're living it up with dancing girls at Mar-a-Lago and drinking bubbly at the new Café de Rose Garden and hitting companies up for Trump's opulent ballroom and squeezing a 747 from Qatar and selling watches and crypto and sneakers and otherwise making a mint. It shouldn't be hard at all.

And once again it works for Mike Johnson. He gets asked about Trump’s pardon of his crypto fraud guy yesterday after Trump’s 60 Minutes interview, he said he doesn’t know about it, then he DOESN’T GET ASKED a single question about it today in his press conference. bsky.app/profile/ronf...

The reason why Republicans get away with saying “I don’t anything about that” is because they usually aren’t asked about the topic again the following day or a few days later. Media has already moved on to the next illegality or abuse, and the cycle continues.

NEW: Amid concerns over the Biden administration's regulation of the crypto industry, billionaire tech investor Marc Andreessen, a longtime Democrat, donated more than $5 million to groups supporting Trump ahead of the 2024 election. Since then, he's gotten what he called for: a hollowed-out CFPB.

The Trump administration’s gutting of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has been good for venture capitalists like Andreessen, who previously accused the agency of “terrorizing” fintech startups and crypto companies.

The Trump family crypto grift and the Binance pardon boil down to one thing: CORRUPTION. Trump is profiting off the presidency every day, while leaving Americans out in the cold.

Trump says he knows nothing about a crypto billionaire who got a presidential pardon. Trump says he won't make SNAP payments, but his underlings walk that back and say he’ll make partial payments. Is Trump too busy picking out bathroom tile to run the government? Who’s in charge? Stephen Miller?

I'm not letting this go. It seems like it should be a much bigger deal that the President of the United States admitted on live TV Sunday night that he has no idea who he's pardoning — that he only pardoned a crypto fraudster because his sons told him to. Why is the media ignoring this corruption?

The orange felon says he pardoned a Chinese criminal crypto billionaire fraudster without even knowing who he is. Sounds like he uses auto-pen or he’s completely lying. I choose both.

I can't take Square's statements like these seriously cause it's pretty much always just "PLEASE give us money investors, we're SOOOOOOOO into this hot new trend that DEFINITELY won't die soon!!" e.g. NFT plans and whatnot

"stablecoins" are a ponzi scam, just like other crypto currency, and pretending they aren't is just setting yourself up to get ripped off.

Stablecoins are a type of digital currency that could revolutionize — or severely disrupt — the way people, companies and countries exchange money. CBC’s Jenna Benchetrit explains.

A St Louis Fed paper analyzed the Silicon Valley Bank bailout and analyzed the assets and found it would have been better to let it fail because 90% of the assets were crypto and VC bets and would have had little to no effect on the broader economy.

“It’s not that I’m for austerity, it’s just that I’m against bailing out AI, crypto, private assets/university endowments, and I’m fine with canceled Thanksgiving flights and missed paychecks as long as Republicans take the blame for it.”

The GOP spent months "investigating" an autopen, calling it a threat to democracy itself, surely they could spend some time looking into a POTUS pardoning someone he says he doesn't know that just happened to make his sons $2B in crypto profits? Is this democracy working? I can't hear a thing.
