Heartbreaking and horrifying to go to bed reading about the mass shooting at Brown University and wake up to read about the mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach. Thinking of the victims, their loved ones, and those affected by the hate that drove these attacks.

A deeply sad morning, with heartbreaking mass killings in Providence & Sydney. Innocent students killed in a classroom. At least 11 people by gunmen at a Hanukkah celebration. Too many guns here. Frightening levels of antisemitism globally. So much senseless violence & hate.

I’m not sharing anything because the reports are all over the place but the Brown news is awful

It’s simple. Other countries don’t have this many guns. Other countries don’t have this many senseless bloodbaths that too many government officials don’t do anything to prevent. My heart breaks for the victims, their families and friends, and the entire Brown community.
