Snowshoeing race up the downhill alpine ski race course on the final day of the games.
Open to every athlete at the games.
Ten-million dollar prizes for the male and female winners.

I learned two things from this week's Economist/YouGov polling on the Winter Olympics: (1) If you call the discipline Alpine Skiing and not Downhill Skiing, people won't know what you mean, and (2) 96% of Americans don't know how medaling works here.
